- I'm not from the UK, can I still purchase a bike?
Yes, however an additional charge would apply for delivery.
- What is the law surrounding electric bicycles?
Under the British Law (EAPC Regulations 1983), the power
assisted bikes are not classed as a motor vehicle providing the
weight is less than 40kg, is fitted with pedals, has an output
not exceeding 200 watts and cannot be propelled under power at
more than 15 mph. In the event an power assisted bike exceeds
these limitations it is then classed as a motor vehicle and would
require road tax, insurance etc.
