A fantastic bike shop. Everything you could need in a bike shop, assisted brilliantly with a new e-road bike purchase, bike in stock and super quick delivery, helpful advice with setting the bike up and a small warranty claim needed within the first year. All round great service, very quick response by email, very knowledgeable and friendly.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND - KELLY

ve used the recently purchased sDuro cross over the

I've used the recently purchased sDuro cross over the summer and it has been superb. Using both for commuting and leisure, after finding my conventional road bike a bit of a struggle in rush hour traffic and my age kicking in on the hills! The great advantage in traffic is the smooth take off from a standing start keeping up with slow traffic easily. On any Scottish hill so far there has been no need to get out of the saddle.

The great thing about these bikes is that you still have to work the pedals, with corresponding returns in line to energy expended, so a good workout is still available. The bike itself is top quality with good quality parts and finish i.e. this is a high end product worth the extra cost. Be warned though it is heavier than a conventional road bike, though still handles pretty well. The only other comment is on the range, using the bike in high assistance mode drains the battery pretty quickly, on one of my hillier routes the range is probably around 30 miles max. On my mixed terrain commuting route the range is around 50 miles, the route would have to pretty flat to obtain claimed maximum ranges. Overall though a great investment both for convenience and cycling longevity, thoroughly recommended.

My bike is the Haibike Xduro Trekking RX. Last week I cycled from Bangor to Cardiff over some spectacular, hilly terrain.

The bike coped superbly. The battery easily managed the 40 plus miles a day. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Many thanks for your advice. It was an excellent choice.

After extensive research on line with regard to the

After extensive research on line with regard to the best e-bike that would suit our requirements, (2015 Haibike sDuro Trekking RC) each web page would directly lead us to the e-bike shop at Farnham.
Our requirements, were to have two all round trekking bikes that, not only we could use on the roads of the hilly Devonshire countryside. But also bikes that we could easily take away with us on the bike rack of our camper van.

After doing the research, it made choosing the right bikes a walk in the park, for us and for salesman at the e-bike shop. The bikes capabilities were explained with ease and in great detail, down to showing us precisely how to use the led display, the gears and how to use and charge the batteries etc.

A pleasurable experience even in the worst of the winter weather clocking up over 300 miles so far.
Even the wife is enjoying the steep hills now.

and were delivered to us the following Tuesday

Fantastic service, ordered two bikes thursday, they only went into stock Friday, and were delivered to us the following Tuesday, complete with Accessories fitted, top marks to e-bikeshop for helpfulness and delivery

We are Delighted with the new bikes, Top quality German engineering, beats all other Ebikes i have seen for fit and finish

We have been out on them every opportunity the weather allows,
It is Quite hilly where we live so the pedal assist has been tested out to the max, and it does not disappoint, it is a breeze going uphill but you still have to put in some effort, Battery life seems good, they came fully charged, and i managed 26 Miles on High power and the remaining capacity was 37%, it says in the manual that the batteries will not reach their max until several Cycles,

The Motor is near silent in use and the Power kicks in smoothly with no sudden shocks and tails off after the 15 something MPH permitted, then it rides just like any other bike

A ten speed Cassette is fitted but you really only use the top half of them there is no need to use the last three or four low gears unless you are going up the side of a mountain, also i have mainly used High Power and the Normal setting
Eco and Eco+ don't seem to do much but i suppose if you are out for a full day it would conserve power,

The Walk assist button is difficult to operate and impossible with Gloves on, These are no lightweight bikes either, when you come to lift them into my pickup that is, but not noticeable when riding, they ride as good as any ordinary bikes with no Electric Power, and are very well set up

To sum up, These are a bargain for the price, go buy one and i'm sure you will not be disappointed

ve had my xduro trekking for a few months

I've had my xduro trekking for a few months now and done around 1500 miles on it. I have to say it's fab.
As a big guy (290 lbs on a good day) it gives me between 50 to 60 miles of assistance depending on terrain, wind etc. I used to hate hills and take longer routes just to avoid them, but now I can go anywhere and spend far less time doing it. Great bike - I would recommend it to anyone.
Martin and his team have been a great help and are always there to answer my stupid questions and provide helpful advise.
