The new 2017 Haibike xDuro DownHill 9.0 is the top spec Bosch equipped downhill eBike in the Haibike range. New for 2017 built on bullet proof components, this bike is suitable for harsh terrain Gravity / Enduro / Down Hill riding. The only downhill eBike of it's kind!

New Features
New for 2017 the Haibike xDuro DownHill 9.0 boasts a new top end spec base, are you ready to hit the slopes?
Now on 500Wh Bosch battery, CX Performance drive unit, built specifically for high adrenaline mountain biking and a smaller Purion 2017 display for only the essential info required whilst keeping the bars and rider cockpit clean.
Haibike have equipped Fox's new X2 rear shock to the DownHill 9.0 with advanced RVS damping providing a high tune-ability and of course the high and low speed compression adjustment.
The 2017 Fox X2 is one of the most adjustable shocks on the planet built specifically for hard hits, downhill & gravity riding.
Fully air adjustable and of course factory shocks receive a Kashima coating for silky smooth gliding the full travel.
On the 2017 xDuro Downhill 9.0 the wheels are 27.5" (650B), so optimize the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. Haibike have wrapped these wheels with new boots from Maxxis, the High Roller 2's offer a dual compound grippy rubber for maximum grip across mixed terrain.
The Haibike xDuro DownHill 9.0 2017 comes kitted out with FOX 40 Float Factory triple clamp forks up front, now offering an even lighter weight chassis than before.
With 40mm lowers & a 20mm through axle for ultimate stiffness up front. Coupled with kashima coating as standard to reduce friction. True trail performance and ultimate control comes from the redeveloped and new FiT4 system from FOX.
FOX Factory Series forks feature an additional 21 clicks of low-speed compression adjust in the Open mode, allowing riders to fine-tune their exact damping preferences for 2017.
You can also use new air volume spacers on the Haibike DownHill to adjust the progressiveness of the spring curve.
On the 2017 FOX 40's there is a special air bleed system situated on the back of the stanchions so the rider can ensure consistent fork performance at any altitude. The 2017 Haibike Downhill 9.0 comes as standard with a KS LEV-DX dropper post built in so you can raise and lower the seat at the flick of a switch on the handlebars.
For 2017 Haibike have spec'd the DownHill 9.0 with a Mavic Deemax wheel set. These downhill racing wheels were developed by world class riders to offer the most lightweight and responsive downhill racing wheel on the market.
New instant engaging rear hub freewheel & ultralight spokes give the wheels the instant stiffness they need to compete with the toughest terrain.
Haibike have of course opted to equip the new xDuro Downhill bike with Shimano top of the line Saint. This kit designed for downhill and heavy enduro use is perfect for the stresses and strains of a tough hitting bike.
Haibike couple the new powerful xDuro DownHill 9.0 with some sharp stoppers! The new 2017 Shimano Saint brakes have a shorter servo wave lever pivot with a 2 finger lever, this gives the rider great control over free stroke which is also easily adjusted. These Saint brakes over cooling fins over the pads to disperse heat quickly and also 3 layer hydraulic hose to keep the brake feel consistent. The wider pads on 4 piston calipers give a positive feel with minimum fade even when flat out downhill.
From shifters to rear derailleur Haibike have specc'd the Downhill 9.0 with the specific Shimano Saint kit, so we see a full Saint 10 spd drive train. Meaning robust, smooth, light gear changes! It also means that the look and feel of the DH bike stays true to it's roots with matchmaker gear lever and brake lever for a clean cockpit and minimal fuss.
Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB.
This ensures a shorter wheelbase for the ultimate control and manoeuvrability off road. The chain is impossible to drop due to the exclusive Haibike S.E.S. (Sprocket Equalizing System).
This raises the chain off the front sprocket up to the same level as the swing arm pivot point so the chain is not affected by the rear end moving up and down over bumps.
Haibike have finished the DownHill 9.0 with Thompson wide Alloy bars and a neat direct mount stem. Really finishes this DH bike off!
This top end DH 9.0 electric bike is well equipped out of the box, in fact what would you want to change? It has it all. For the first time you can hit the downhill riding and ride back up. Forget the uplift, the DownHill brings a whole new level to mountain biking for 2017!
Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro DownHill 9.0 2017 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike DwnHll 9.0 features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.
For 2017 Haibike have equipped the new Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.

Can I try the bike before I buy?
Yes of course, you can visit, we can talk you through your riding style and requirements and offer expert advice as to which model to select. We will be able to advise particular eBikes and talk them through in more detail. We also give you the opportunity to ride crank drive bikes so you can get a feel for them prior to purchase.
At e-bikeshop we work by appointment only, so we can talk to each customer on an individual basis to give the best advice possible. If you like the bike, you have the option to take it away there and then with any accessories selected fitted and a full fitting session on the bike itself. We ask you to go for a short ride on the bike to make sure you are happy with the setup and also able to answer any operational questions you may have.
