I recently brought the haibike xDURO sl 29 2014

I recently brought the haibike xDURO sl 29 2014. My first impression is an overwhelming wow. Instant fun.

I use my bike to commute for work 12 miles both ways. It's taken 10 mins off of the time it takes, but most noticeable is i am not sweating and spent at the start of the day. (I do a physical job so I need the energy for the day) I've had no issues that weren't explained to me up front.

I brought mine with the dongle (you'd be crazy not to) Martin said I may get an error code that crops up due to number of teeth and software. To fix this you just turn the bike off and on again, no big whoop. I've opted to put a larger front ring on the bike and this has gotten rid of the error problem plus I now no longer "out legs" the bike on a long downhill.

I don't take the bike out of turbo and was finding that on one charge I'd get my full 24 mile journey just! I now carry the charger to work with me and recharge at work problem solved. If you can't charge at work you will learn how to ride smarter. Turbo uphill tour on the flat and Eco down hill. This bike is money very well spent. I ride everywhere. If you want a bike for a commute go see Martin you will ride out of his shop feeling like you are a 15 year old again.

My last thought................. I am already eyeing up my next bike!
