A fantastic bike shop. Everything you could need in a bike shop, assisted brilliantly with a new e-road bike purchase, bike in stock and super quick delivery, helpful advice with setting the bike up and a small warranty claim needed within the first year. All round great service, very quick response by email, very knowledgeable and friendly.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND - KELLY

I met Martin Wednesday just gone and after a brief chat about ride style what I've rode in the past and so on, I told Martin I'm a keen road cyclist on my scott CR1 carbon road bike I ended up buying a Lapierre HT 900 E-Bike.

Which I must say after today BLOODY HELL does it go just loved it handle well reposes so good in the local woodland around sussex better then me riding my motor bike? Going to have so much fun for the months to come, E-Bikeshop get the thumbs up from me.

Thank you Martin i will be back for more but I'm afraid that my passion for road bike still live on but best of both worlds!

Now that I have had

Now that I have had time to ride & assess the LaPierre properly I would like to thank you for your help in selecting a suitable e-bike to meet my planned riding & preparing it for me .

My plan was to ride green-lanes & the occasional off-road trail but the bike is so capable that it does not matter where I ride it it is just so much fun.
Thanks again for all your help & advice

So I bought a small framed Lapierre Overvolt from you back in early January 2015 and brought it back with me to Sheffield.

I have been gradually expanding my range and types of terrain on it and so far it's been brilliant. It's been very muddy on the trails until recently though. I'm looking forward to taking it out on more Peak District tracks over the summer.

Just riding it up from my house in Nether Edge to the top of Houndkirk Road near Foxhouses in the Peak District (ie 6.5 miles up hill 1000 feet, mostly off road), drops the range using mostly Eco mode down to around 22 miles, but it perks up again when I start down the other side showing a range of nearer 35 miles. Goes to show how unfit I am. But at least I'm not half dead which is what would have happened on my hybrid bike.

As a contrast, I took it on a back road trip of 17 miles around my son's house in coastal Suffolk - nice, rolling flattish countryside and I was happily averaging 15 - 16 mph with about the same drain on the battery. Still had a range left of about 45 miles. Tyres not the ideal for that sort of riding though!

I've put a rack on the back - and clip on mudguards when it is very muddy. I might change the handlebar grips and upgrade the pedals but it feels a well balanced and easy machine to ride even on the tricky rocky patches on Curbar Edge. It's so nice to have the extra power to keep the bike going. And more importantly even more fun to leave my poor husband for dead on the steep uphills! Tables have been well and truly turned.

I bought the Lapierre Overvolt HT 500 from e

I bought the Lapierre Overvolt HT 500 from e-bikeshop in January and I can honestly say it was a really good descision. The customer service from Martin is second to none, he really went the extra mile to make sure the bike was right for me.

The Lapierre Overvolt HT 500 is an amazing bike and well worth the money. I've done around 120 miles on it so far and plan on doing a lot more. I've mainly been using it for commuting and the odd weekend ride. It's crazy how fast I can get to work on this thing!

The sensation of the motor helping you along is addictive. As soon as you put some pressure on the pedals you're off. I would recommend these bikes to anyone but especially someone who might need a bit of help on the hills which is where you really notice the motor. On the flats you will mainly be doing all the work yourself unless you drop below 15mph. If you go for the speed dongle then you'll be flying!

If you're thinking of getting an e bike from e-bikeshop then what are you waiting for? Just do it today, you'll love it!
