I have now done about 400 miles on

Review left on 2016 model: I have now done about 400 miles on the bike since purchasing it in late April 2016. It's great! I cycled from Bath to Buxton in 5 days averaging 50 miles per day and it performed flawlessly in all weather conditions. It is lightweight enough that you can easily use it without battery assist.

'Eco' mode is enough to take the strain on the hills. In other modes the assist is powerful letting you fly up steep hills. Assist stops when the speed exceeds 17mph. The battery capacity was easily enough for each day's cycling. I used the Bosch Nyon system and that is worth the upgrade. The navigation facilities are good and you can download gpx files. It links with a smartphone app letting you see data, maps and configure modes.

E-bikeshop provided good advice on the purchase.

Just to let you know how the Bikes

Review left on 2016 model: Just to let you know how the Bikes going,it’s allowed me to ride with my Club Mates on a Wednesday, as there ave speed is around 14 to 15 mph,and due to a nerve problem, which is progressively weakening my legs,i had to forgo that ride.

I ride a Carbon Trek Domane on Saturday Club Runs as i can ride with a slower Group,up to 12.5 mph.My ave ride on a Wednesday is between 30 to 50 miles, and incorporates quite a few hills (Kent) I also carry the lads spare kit when it gets a bit warm.Maximum duration without charging the battery was 70 miles, showing 30% left when i put it on charge.I am really impressed by the bike,it’s allowed me to continue as a normal cyclist for a few years yet,i will be 77 in August .
