With a relaxed, comfortable and very much "upright" geometry and style, the Kathmandu EXC builds confidence in new eBike riders with its predictable but direct handling. The 2023 Cube Kathmandu SLX is available in Crossbar, Trapeze (Uni) and Easy Entry (Step through) frame styles and comes with the highest level of componentry riders expect of this range topping model.
The 2023 Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SLX 750 Easy Entry is one of the most rugged, versatile and powerful hybrid bikes on the market and the introduction of the new Bosch Smart system for 2022 was quickly taken advantage of by Cube on this new model and carries on into 2023.
Whether you want to nip to the shops or tour across Europe, the Kathmandu Hybrid SLX 750 has everything you need but your luggage, straight from the box. This is enabled by is high spec group set taken straight from mountain biking models, and air driven front suspension forks.
Brakes & Gears
Shimano BR-MT8120 levers and 4 piston calipers, paired with 180mm rotors at the front and back of the bike offer exceptional bite and great modulation, making them a great choice for a variety of terrain and riding styles and are the top component choice of mountain bike manfacturers for their power and ease of use.
Hydraulic brakes are now very much standard on top quality ebikes, taking just a small amount of pressure to generate a stronger stopping force.
The 2023 Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SLX 750 eBike is equipped with Shimano's Deore XT M8120 12-speed rear derailleur. Another component group from the mountain bike parts shelf designed to enhance the performance of this hybrid leisure bike.
With an 10 to 51 tooth cassette, and Shimano's Shadow+ technology the 2023 Cube Kathmandu now offers increased climbing ability over previous models and offers a well-spaced gearing ratio for both climbing and top speed on long, flat runs. The shifting is highly responsive and very crisp.
The latest Shimano XT disc brakes are dual piston for ultimate stopping power. The brake lever is adjustable to the riders optimal reach.
Shimano's Shadow+ technology offers a lower than normal derailleur profile which helps to avoid knocks when out riding, while the clutch mechanism vastly improves chain stability and retention on rougher terrain. 12 speed wide ratio gearing makes the biggest climbs flatter than ever!
Shimano Deore SL-M8100 RapidFire shifters are easy to use without requiring much force to quickly switch between climbing and top speed.
Wheels & Tyres
Cube have used their own factory EX23 rims on the Kathmandu for 2023 with Shimano hubs and 700c rims. The 23mm wide rims offer the ability to fit a wide choice of tyres.
The 2023 Kathmandu Hybrid SLX 750 comes with with the very popular and large volume Marathon E-Plus tyres from Schwalbe. These fast rolling tyres offer superbly low rolling resistance on paved roads, and the extra width and grip needed for gravel, forest tracks and tow paths.

Having had an almost total frame redesign in the last model year, the 2023 Cube Kathmandu Hybrid SLX Easy Entry retains all of its previous frame features with fully internal routing for all cables and double-welded frame seams for a sleek, smooth finish to the frame often only found on much higher specification eBikes.
The Bosch 750Wh PowerTube battery has been mounted inside the frame to further protect it and enhance the frames aesthetics.

Power
The new Cube Kathmandu SLX 750 2023 Easy Entry eBike features the latest Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, with a brand new twist.
The recently updated 250w CX system now provides 85Nm of torque and peaks at 500w. With 4 assistance modes, it can now provide up to 340% assistance in Turbo mode.
In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set off in one assistance mode and clever sensor driven system will provide exactly the right amount of power right when you need it and less when you don't.
Included with the new Smart System Generation 4 motor and 750Wh battery, the 2023 Kathmandu SLX also benefits from the new Kiox 300 colour display.
The new Bosch Kiox 300 display is neat and super compact with a bright, intuitive LCD display screen and tailored around helping riders with their training. It can also be updated wirelessly via the new eBike Flow app.
The new Bosch eBike LED Remote keeps the rider in-tact with the ride assist mode at any moment during the ride, it's easy to read featuring a built-in ambient light sensor and ergonomic design for quick assist changes on-the-go.
The Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. The whopping 750Wh battery is the latest in the Bosch eBike line-up offering the very longest range possible. It can be charged both in the bike or when removed.

We generally keep over 150 eBikes built in our showroom. Note: Some models shown as 'Pre-Order' may not be in the showroom to view as the bike is still due from the supplier. We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any extras fitted and a handover session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.
