The Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 shares most of its specification with the Touring Hybrid Pro, but with a few key differences.
With its strong, reliable (and newly upgraded from 65 to 75Nm!) Bosch Generation 3 Performance motor, a 625Wh battery and an ultra rugged platform, it offers exceptional reliability and performance at a price that other manufacturers struggle to compete with.
If you're looking for an ebike that can cope with the daily urban commute with as much ease as it can on trails, canal paths, fire roads and long distance touring but don't require the 85Nm of the Kathmandu models, this is the perfect bike for you!

Features
A major upgrade over the Touring Hybrid One and Pro models, the Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 2023 Uni models come with a SR Suntour XCR32 LO-R Air fork as standard.
This plush air fork soaks up the rough terrain and the very worst of the UK's roads while keeping the steering input and feedback precise, stable and easily controlled. Additional rider comfort is added to the rear of the bike with Cube's own weight adjustable suspension seat-post
Cube's new 2023 Touring Hybrid EXC 625 is offered with the latest 75Nm Bosch Performance Line motor, a 625Wh battery and brand new Intuvia 100 display, but retains its highly competitive price tag.
With a relaxed, comfortable and very upright seating position and style, the Touring Hybrid EXC offers a confidence building riding style in new ebike riders with its predictable but direct handling but has all of the top spec components seasoned riders would make use of and expect. All 2023 Cube Touring Hybrid models are available in Crossbar, Trapeze (Uni or "lower" crossbar) and Easy Entry (no crossbar at all) frame styles.
Brakes & Gears
The Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 2023 is equipped with Shimano's BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes both front and rear. These offer solid on and off-road performance with easy reach adjustment.
These levers and calipers, paired with 180mm rotors at the front and back of the bike offer exceptional bite and great modulation, making them a great choice for a variety of terrain and riding styles.
Hydraulic brakes are now very much standard on top quality ebikes, taking just a small amount of pressure to generate a stronger stopping force.
As with much of the rest of the Touring Hybrid range, for 2023 the Touring Hybrid EXC eBike gets a major upgrade in the form of a 12 speed Shimano XT group set traditionally only found on e-Mountain bike models.
With an 11 to 51 tooth cassette, this 2023 Cube Touring Hybrid model now offers increased climbing ability over last years model and offers a well-spaced gearing ratio for both climbing and top speed on long, flat runs. The shifting is highly responsive and very crisp.
Shimano BR MT-420 four piston hydraulic brakes offer strong breaking force with minimal grip strength.
12 Speed Shimano XT gearing (practically unheard of on touring bikes!) provides a wide ratio choice for every type of terrain.
Shimano SL-M6100 Rapidfire-Plus shifters make light work of flicking through the 12 speed rear cassette
Wheels & Tyres
Cube have used their own factory rims on the Touring Hybrid EXC for 2023 with Shimano hubs and 700c rims. The 23mm wide rims offer the ability to fit a wide choice of tyres.
Cube have equipped the 2023 Touring Hybrid EXC 625 with the very popular and large volume Energizer Plus Performance tyres from Schwalbe.
These fast rolling tyres offer superbly low rolling resistance on paved roads, and the extra width and grip needed for gravel, forest tracks and tow paths.

The 2023 Cube Touring Hybrid EXC features the Bosch Performance Line eBike drive system. With its 625Wh battery, this Cube eBike will once again be popular with those looking for a versatile every day commuter bike, but also those who spend their weekends off the tarmac with a range of up to 140 miles. Keenly priced with a well thought out and updated spec for the 2023 model year this is a "one-bike-does-it-all" winner from Cube.
Having had another complete frame redesign for 2023 to incorporate the new Smart System functionality, the Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 retains much of its previous frame features that it shares with the rest of the Touring Hybrid range.
Fully internal routing for all cables, double-welded frame seams for a sleek, smooth finish to the frame often only found on much higher specification eBikes gives the Touring Hybrid EXC 625 an ultra modern look.
The Bosch 625Wh PowerTube battery has been mounted inside the frame to further protect it and enhance overall look.
Power
The new Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 2023 Uni eBike features the latest Gen 3 Bosch Performance Line crank drive motor, with a brand new twist.
The recently updated 250w system now provides 75Nm of torque. With 4 assistance modes, it can now provide up to 340% assistance in Turbo mode.
In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set off in one assistance mode and clever sensor driven system will provide exactly the right amount of power right when you need it and less when you don't.
As well as taking advantange of the new Bosch Smart system motor and battery system, its also the very first to feature Bosch's brand new Intuvia 100 display.
The new Bosch Intuvia 100 display is neat and super compact with a bright, intuitive LCD display screen and tailored around providing simple, clear and easy to use rider information. It can also be updated wirelessly via the new eBike Flow app.
The Bosch Generation 3 Performance Line motor is one of the most widely used and most reliable motors in the electric bicycle world, and is right at home on the Touring Hybrid range.
The Bosch PowerTube 625Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. Offering up to 140 miles on a single charge, its one of the largest batteries available on ebikes.

This electric bikes includes a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a UK Electric Bike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

We generally keep over 150 eBikes built in our showroom. Note: Some models shown as 'Pre-Order' may not be in the showroom to view as the bike is still due from the supplier. We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any extras fitted and a handover session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.

I'm really impressed with this bike. It's fun to ride, I'm still getting good exercise and it helps when I struggle on hills. It handles well on tracks and I feel confident and comfortable. Best of all is the Ebike shop who have looked after the bike and dealt with a couple of (small) issues immediately.
