Features
Having had an almost total frame redesign in the last model year, the 2022 Cube Touring Hybrid Pro 500 retains much of its previous frame features.
Fully internal routing for all cables, double-welded frame seams for a sleek, smooth finish to the frame often only found on much higher specification eBikes gives the Touring Hybrid Pro an ultra modern look.
The Bosch 500Wh PowerTube battery has been mounted inside the frame to further protect it and enhance overall looks.
Cube's new 2022 Touring Hybrid Pro 500 is offered with the Bosch Performance Line motor, a 500Wh battery and Intuvia display, but retains its highly competitive price tag.
With a relaxed, comfortable and very upright seating position and style, the Touring Hybrid Pro builds confidence in new ebike riders with its predictable but direct handling. The 2022 Cube Touring Hybrid models are available in both crossbar and Uni/trapeze frame styles.
Brakes & Gears
The Touring Hybrid Pro 500 2022 is equipped with Shimano's BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes both front and rear. These offer solid on and off-road performance with easy reach adjustment.
These levers and calipers, paired with 180mm rotors at the front and back of the bike offer exceptional bite and great modulation, making them a great choice for a variety of terrain and riding styles.
Hydraulic brakes are now very much standard on top quality ebikes, taking just a small amount of pressure to generate a stronger stopping force.
As with much of the rest of the Touring bike range, for 2022 The Touring Hybrid Pro eBike gets an upgrade from 10 to 11 speed for the new model year and is equipped with Shimano's Deore M5100 11-speed rear derailleur.
With an 11 to 51 tooth cassette, this 2022 Cube Touring Hybrid model now offers increased climbing ability over last years model and offers a well-spaced gearing ratio for both climbing and top speed on long, flat runs. The shifting is highly responsive and very crisp.
Shimano's Shadow+ technology offers a lower than normal derailleur profile which helps to avoid knocks when out riding, while the clutch mechanism vastly improves chain stability and retention on rougher terrain.
Twin piston hydraulic brakes offer strong braking power, even for those with low grip strength.
11 speed Shimano Deore gearing is a time tested groupset for hybrid bikes and offers the perfect range of ratios.
Shimano RapidFire shifters are simple to use and offer crisp gear shifts with minimal effort.
Wheels & Tyres
Cube have used their own factory rims on the Touring Hybrid Pro for 2022 with Shimano hubs and 700c rims. The 23mm wide rims offer the ability to fit a wide choice of tyres.
Cube have equipped the 2022 Touring Hybrid Pro 500 with the very popular and large volume Big Ben Performance tyres from Schwalbe.
These fast rolling tyres offer superbly low rolling resistance on paved roads, and the extra width and grip needed for gravel, forest tracks and tow paths.

New for 2022, Suntour NVX30 Coil fork soaks up the rough terrain and the very worst of the UK's roads while keeping the steering input and feedback precise, stable and easily controlled.
Additional rider comfort is added to the rear of the bike with Cube's own weight adjustable suspension seat-post.

Power
The new 2022 Cube Touring Hybrid Pro 500 eBike features the Bosch Performance G3 crank drive motor, 500Wh PowerTube frame integrated battery and Intuvia display system.
The 250w Performance system outputs 65Nm of torque and peaks at over 500w! It certainly packs a punch, offering up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance (and remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike) ranging from 40 to 300% assistance.
The Bosch Intuvia display is effortlessly simple to use and offers the rider "at-a-glance" speed, power mode and battery information and is removable, providing an extra layer of security.
The Bosch Generation 3 Performance Line motor is one of the most widely used in the electric bike industry, and has proved itself to highly robust and reliable.
The Bosch PowerTube 500Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. One of the most popular choices for riders looking to do sub 100 miles in a single ride, its easily removed to charge off the bike where needed.
What's included
Your new electric bike gets a full set-up by our workshop technicians ahead of delivery.
Your eBike will arrive with a user manual, keys (where applicable), charger & free follow up service (at our service center) within 3 months of delivery.
This electric bikes includes a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a UK Electric Bike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any accessories selected fitted and a fitting session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.
We will then prepare your new eBike and be in touch to book a suitable collection day/time.
One of our experts is on hand to help you set up the correct position on your new eBike along with answering any questions that you may have.
