Features
A practical yet elegant trekking bike, featuring the new Gen 3 Bosch Performance motor, a larger 625Wh PowerTube battery and a comfortable geometry. Fully equipped with all the essentials you could need for a full day in the saddle.
For long days in the saddle, the comfortable Selle Royal ergonomic saddle is paired with the Moustache's own suspension seat post, to further soak up any jolts at the rear.
The Bosch Gen 3 Performance motor is cleanly integrated within the hydro-formed alloy frame, which has been designed to hold the 625Wh battery lower within the frame compared to previous models for a better centre of gravity.
The smooth welds really give the Samedi X-Road 2 a clean look, whilst the sturdy alloy mudguards further add to the premium feel of the bike whilst protecting the rider.
Brakes & Gears
To smooth out the roughest of roads, Moustache have spec'd the X-Road 2 with the Suntour XCM ATB fork. These offer 80mm of front suspension with a lockout function for the smoother terrain, they are also adjustable for rider comfort.
The MT200 brakes offer consistent braking regardless of weather, with the usual excellent modulation delivered from Shimano's hydraulic brakes.
To match the brakes, Moustache have fitted a complete Shimano Deore gear system. This new system is now on 9 speed for 2022 with a wide range 11-36t cassette.
This ensures the Moustache Samedi X-Road 2 is perfectly balanced in gears for descents and climbs. Be it cycling to work, that Saturday ride across the lanes or even bridleway paths and tracks, the Samedi X-Road 2 is ideal for any ride!
Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes are reliable and need very little pressure to operate.
Shimano Deore 9 speed gearing provides a useful ratio for any terrain you plan to ride.
Trigger Shift gearing from Shimano is simple to use and incredible reliable, allowing you to just enjoy the ride!
Wheels & Tyres
The Samedi X-Road 2 features fast rolling 27.5" wheels.
Most commonly found on mountain bikes, they're the perfect blend between speed, agility and rollowing comfort. They also allow for a limitless choice of tyres.
Hutchinson Python tyres can be run at lower presssure for additional comfort and grip on gravel paths and bridleways.
Alternatively, they can be run at higher pressures for faster rolling on the road. These tyres are also great at preventing nasty punctures with their thick lining!

In fact, they only make Bosch eBikes, so they really know what they're doing. The whole bike is designed to be an eBike, unlike other bikes that have been adapted.
The Moustache X-Road 2 not only looks great due to it's smooth welding and PowerTube battery, it's practical for many riders too.

Power
The Moustache Samedi X-Road 2 2022 features the latest Bosch Performance eBike system. Offering a larger sprocket upfront with no internal gearing, this motor is much quieter and features little resistance when pedalling outside of the assistance.
The system is designed to be smooth and is around 30% more compact than it's predecessor. Offering support up to 300% and peak torque levels of 65Nm. Offering smooth & strong power delivery. Support is delivered in 4 different assistance modes up to 15mph.
For 2022 Moustache have equipped the Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.
New for 2022, the Moustache X-Road 2 comes with an even bigger 625Wh battery, offering a full day in the saddle with no battery range anxiety with 20% more range than it's predecessor. This battery can be charged both on or removed form the bike for easy charging.
The Bosch Purion display is incredibly simple to use - you'll eventually find yourself changing modes without even looking!
The Generation 3 Bosch Performance Motor used to be found on mountain bikes but is now common on higher end hybrid and leisure bikes.
The Bosch PowerTube 625Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. The second largest in the Bosch eBike line-up, it offers upto 160 miles of assisted riding. It can be charged both in the bike or when removed.
What's included
Your new electric bike gets a full set-up by our workshop technicians ahead of delivery.
Your eBike will arrive with a user manual, keys (where applicable), charger & free follow up service (at our service center) within 3 months of delivery.
This electric bikes includes a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a UK Electric Bike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any accessories selected fitted and a fitting session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.
We will then prepare your new eBike and be in touch to book a suitable collection day/time.
One of our experts is on hand to help you set up the correct position on your new eBike along with answering any questions that you may have.
