Haibike have made good use of lots of new technology for the new 2025 model year. Bosch's new "Generation 5" Performance CX motor and their new, lighter weight PowerTube 800Wh and 600Wh batteries feature heavily, as well as updated brakes and gears from Shimano, suspension from Fox and Rockshox and a couple of new models too!
Haibike have introduced a raft of new models, as well as updating or incorporating "rollover" models into the year in order to keep costs as keen as possible. Almost all of the 2025 Haibike AllMtn model range is for the first time in a couple of years completely brand new with revised frames, specification and drive systems. The 2025 Haibike Trekking range has also seen some major updates with the introduction of the new Bosch system.
Haibike appear to have stepped away from their heavy use of Yamaha drive systems for 2025. We dont think this has anything to do with the quality or reliability of the Yamaha product but more likey to do with Yamaha having invested heavily in their own electric bike range, which likely limits the production capacity for drive systems for outside manufacturers. Their alternative is almost always Bosch and we think we'll start to see a fading of the Yamaha drive systems in the next few years, starting which only really having overhauled or launched brand new models with Bosch or TQ drives for 2025
