Who is this bike suitable for?
So this is my first ebike and I love it. Travelled 600 miles on it in a couple of months. Having an ebike transforms the cycling experience and this one suits me perfectly. I purchased it saying I needed it for some off road, nothing crazy - bridleways that sort of thing. When purchasing, e-bikeshop said this good for that, and I think so.

Cube's new 2021 Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 is offered with the new Bosch Gen 4 Performance CX motor, a 625Wh battery and highly competitive pricing.
With a relaxed, comfortable and largely "upright" geometry and style, the Kathmandu Pro builds confidence in new riders with its predictable but direct handling. The 2021 Cube Kathmandu is available in both crossbar and trapeze frame styles.
Cube have equipped the Kathmandu Pro 625 with the very popular and large volume Big Ben tyres from Schwalbe.
These tyres have RaceGuard puncture protection with a tread ideal for fast rolling on the road, whilst the large volume and width allows for extra off-road grip along with additional comfort when running lower pressures.
Suntour's XCM ATB front suspension fork helps to soak up the rough terrain and the very worst of the UK's roads while keeping the steering input and feedback precise. Additional rider comfort is added with Cube's own weight adjustable suspension seatpost.
The Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 2021 is equipped with Shimano's MT200 hydraulic disc brakes. These offer solid on and off-road performance with easy reach adjustment.
These levers and calipers, paired with 180mm rotors offer plenty of bite and great modulation making them a great choice for a variety of terrain and riding styles so you can be sure they'll stop you as quickly as you accelerate on this eBike. Minimal maintenance and fuss - aside from changing the brake pads - no user maintenance is required.
Cube have used their own factory rims onthe Kathmandu for 2021 with Shimano hubs and 700c rims. The 23mm rims offer an excellent tyre profile for a wide choice of oversized tyres.
Cube has designed the Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 to be thoroughly up to date for 2021, with fully internal routing for all cables and double-welded frame seams for a sleek, smooth finish to the frame often only found on much higher specification eBikes. The Bosch 625Wh PowerTube battery has been mounted inside the frame to further protect it and enhance the frames aesthetics.
The 2021 Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 eBike is equipped with Shimano's Deore M6000 10-speed rear derailleur.
With an 11 to 42 tooth cassette, the Kathmandu 625 offers a well-spaced gearing ratio for both climbing and top speed on long, flat runs. The shifting is both responsive and crisp - this positive feedback allows the rider to concentrate on riding.
Shimano's Shadow+ technology offers a lower than normal derailleur profile which helps to avoid knocks when out riding, while the clutch mechanism vastly improves chain stability and retention on rougher terrain.

Bosch CX and Intuvia System
The new Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 2021 eBike features the latest Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and is set up for optimum performance.
The recently updated Generation 4 250w CX system provides 85Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch and will offer up to 340% assistance in Turbo Mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
The Kathmandu 625 features the latest 'PowerTube' Bosch 625Wh battery technology for 2021. Completely integrated into the frame, Cube have neatly designed it so it can be charged both on and off the bike.
The Bosch Intuvia display shows the rider useful information at a glance, whilst keeping the cockpit clear of distraction. It offers super quick access to parameters and assistance modes and also includes the 'Walk-Assist' function and the ability to remove it from the bike when parked to immobilise the electrical system and help prevent theft.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
