Depending on the particular Avinox generation and bike, the system can deliver up to 150Nm of torque and up to 1,500W of peak power. That's a substantial amount of output for a bicycle motor and gives Avinox-equipped bikes phenomenal climbing ability. Of course, peak figures aren't everything. What really matters on the trail is how that power is delivered and this is one of Avinox's biggest strengths. The assistance is designed to feel smooth and responsive rather than simply throwing maximum power at you.
Battery capacity varies between bikes and model years. Avinox equipped bikes have been offered with batteries including 600Wh, 700Wh and 800Wh capacities, depending on the manufacturer and model. The larger batteries provide more energy for longer rides, while smaller capacities can help keep overall bike weight down. If you're riding big mountain days and regularly using high levels of assistance, we'd favour the larger battery. If lightweight handling is your priority, a smaller battery can make a lot of sense.
