At under £2,000, this new 2021 Reaction Hybrid is the perfect introduction to electric mountain biking.

Got this bike delivered about three weeks ago and I am really impressed. It’s quick has a great range and as I live half a mile up a farm track at the top of a steep hill getting home was always hard on a bike but this just flies up the hill. Great service from e-bikeshop too

With the newest Generation 3 Bosch Performance System and a 500Wh battery, The Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance 500 2021 is ready to take you further.
Equipped with Schwalbe's 2.35" Smart Sam tyres, these tyres have a continual band of central tread for excellent rolling speed, offering reliable grip on a mix of terrain whilst removing that laborious of off road tyres while pedalling when on tarmac.
The outer shoulders of the tyre have wider spacing with a more aggressive tread pattern to optimise off road grip during cornering, making them a solid all round tyre for a huge range of terrain.
Suntour's XCM ATB 100mm coil front fork helps to soak up the rough terrain and maintain firm tyre contact, keeping the steering precise. Featuring a quick release front axle, getting this bike in an out of the car or puncture repair a much quicker and easier job!
Cube have spec'd the 2021 Reaction Hybrid Performance with Shimano's MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, giving great lever feel, modulation and stopping power. These are paired with 180mm rotors for consistent braking performance.
The MT200 brake system is effortlessly simple and aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit & forget.
Cube have used their own factory EX23 tubeless ready wheels on the Reaction Hybrid Performance for 2021 with Shimano boost hubs and a 29" rim. These 30mm wide factory rims offer an excellent tire profile for a wider choice of tyres.
Cube have designed the Reaction Hybrid Performance as a fantastic value, budget conscious entry for new riders to the electric mountain bike market for 2021. Often only found on much higher specification bikes, it comes with totally internal routing for all cables, including the option to add cables for a stealth dropper post.
The new 500Wh Bosch PowerTube battery is neatly integrated into the frame using Cube's Modular Battery System, which is designed to securely hold the battery in the underside of the downtube for minimal maintenance, ease of removal for charging while offering great impact and weather protection.
The key operated locking assembly is hidden underneath the impact resistant cover to avoid dirt ingress.
The 2021 Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance 500 eBike is equipped with the new Shimano M3100 9-speed groupset.
The 9-speed, 11-36t cassette offers a wide range ratio selection for both up and down hill to suit even the most adventurous of riders.
Although an entry level groupset, it lends itself superbly to the Cube Reaction Performance and performs exceptionally well.

Bosch Performance & Purion eBike System
The new 2021 Cube Reaction Performance 500 eBike features the Bosch Performance G3 crank drive motor, 500Wh PowerTube frame integrated battery and Purion control system. The 250w Performance system outputs 65Nm of torque and peaks at over 500w! It certainly packs a punch, offering up to 300% assistance in turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance (and remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike) ranging from 40 to 300% assistance, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set off in one assistance mode while allowing the clever Bosch eBike system to determine and deliver the level of assistance required based on user input to allow maximum support where its needed, but reign it in to save battery capacity/range where its not.
The Reaction Hybrid Performance features the latest 'PowerTube' Bosch 500Wh battery technology for 2021. Completely integrated into the frame, Cube have neatly designed it so it can be charged both on and off the bike.
Sitting on the left of the bars, the 2021 Bosch Purion display is neat & compact. Riders can see important data like speed, distance and battery range and much more, on an easy to read and navigate LCD screen.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
