Who is this bike suitable for?
I was skeptical I could ascend a local very steep hill sitting down but I did and in torrentially wet conditions. The ability to have traction and āaccelerateā through hairpin bends whilst ascending is unique, as is the lower center of gravity which feel much safer and more controlled on steeper descents. All in all it is an amazing piece of kit.

Cube's new 2019 Touring Hybrid One is offered with Bosch's excellent Active Plus system, a 500Wh battery and a keen pricing for the spec.
With a relaxed and comfortable geometry, the Touring Hybrid One 500 builds confidence with its predictable handling. The bike is also available in crossbar and low toptube sizes.
Cube have equipped the Touring Hybrid One 500 with Schwalbe's K-Guard puncture resistant Range Cruiser tires.
These versatile touring tires have a central rib for smooth rolling, with a outer tread to increase grip on loose terrain.
Suntours NEX-E25 front fork helps to soak up the rough terrain, keeping the steering precise. These have adjustable preload for adjustment of the softness for the fork.
Cube have spec'd the Touring Hybrid One 500 2019 with Shimano's MT200 hydraulic disc brakes. These offer solid performance with easy reach adjustment.
These paired with a 180mm front disc and 160mm rear offer plenty of bite & modulation making them a great all rounder.
You can be sure they'll stop you as quickly as you accelerate on this eBike. Minimal maintenance and fuss. Aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit & forget.
Cube have used their own factory rims onto the Touring Hybrid One 500 for 2019 with Shimano hubs & 700c rims. The 20mm wide rims offer an excellent tire profile for wide tires.
Cube has designed the Touring Hybrid One 500 to be thoroughly up to date for 2019, with internal routing for all cables and double weld seams for a smooth frame finish. The PowerPack battery has been mounted inside the frame to further protect the battery and enhance the frames aesthetics.
The 2019 Cube Touring Hybrid One eBike is equipped with Shimano's Altus M2000 9-speed rear derailleur.
The Altus groupset is popular with many touring riders due to its high reliability.
With a 11 to 34 tooth cassette, the Touring Hybrid 500 offers a well spaced spread of ratios for both climbing & picking up speed on long flat areas. The gearing is both responsive and crisp, meaning you can focus on the ride.
Shimano's Shadow technology offers a low profile derailleur to help avoid knocks when out riding.
The Cube Touring Hybrid One will be popular for many looking for a versatile every day commuter bike, with keen pricing with a well thought out spec. Looking for a more off road focused Cube? This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
