Who is this bike suitable for?
The brand new Haibike sDuro AllMtn RC pretty much says what it does in the name! Its the entry level All Mountain eBike in the sDuro 2015 range. Built for harsher terrain with 150mm of travel but adjustable enough to use as a do-it-all trail bike. The sDuro is taken to a whole new level of fun.
After much research into e-mountain bikes, and visiting a number of dealers, I was blown away by the brilliant service given at e-bikeshop. Martin really knows his stuff, and took into account everything I was looking for in an e-bike. I am now the very proud owner of an AWESOME Haibike, and am totally confident in the back up and aftersales. If you want an e-mountain bike, get down to e-bikeshop!!
New Features
All new features on the 2015 sDuro AllMtn RC offers a lightweight but tough hydroformed alloy frame. This is finished with internal cable routing for a clean and snag free experience.
The German build and all new frame geometry mean this aggressive trail bike can be put through its paces with little worry.
This popular style of eBike is built with mid range components consisting of Fox 32 Talas front forks and rear shock. Both front and rear have the CTD (Climb, Trail & Descent) system. This allows the user to set the suspension to the required use.
The climb mode is pretty much locked out, whilst the descent mode it flat out open. Then there's that clever in-between mode which conserves energy but does give under load, perfect!
We see XLC Evo hubs which are through axle front and rear for improved stiffness and Rodi Black Rock double wall alloy rims. This 27.5" (650B) eBike rolls well over obstacles but has improved torque over a 29'er. Its also a little more maneuverable through tighter terrain.
We feel the sDuro AllMtn RC will be a popular model for the price, considering its a crank driven all mountain machine for just over £3k. Its well equipped and should offer a good option for those looking for a harder hitting bike without hitting their pocket as hard as some of the other models.
The Haibike sDuro AllMtn RC also offers the 2 x 10 speed gear set up using Shimano SLX / XT components. One of the only off road electric bikes to offer a dual ring on the front so climbing becomes easy by using the inner cog.
These use rapid fire shifters to ensure smooth shifting even under load.
Haibike have kitted this sDuro out with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes which offer superior amounts of stopping power on larger 180 / 203mm rotor for minimum modulation over longer descents.
Haibike sDuro range?
The new Haibike sDuro range is focused on the younger generation. With the age range of people using eBikes getting younger and younger the sDuro electric bikes are all equipped with the Yamaha eBike system offering a more affordable system to younger people.
The prices, styling & design reflect this and the bikes start at a lower point and only go up so far. The xDuro range then crosses over and takes the component level further for more advanced riders. The sDuro range was developed for riders in the age range of 20-30 to offer a new level of eBikes to the next eGeneration.
Yamaha eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro AllMtn RC is powered by the latest Yamaha electric bike system. Haibike has partnered with Yamaha to bring a brand new line of sDuro eBikes, this powerful 250w motor offers up to 280% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The assistance is set in 3 levels - 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'. This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.

The Yamaha system uses a 400Wh battery with an assisted range of up to 80 miles. The Haibike sDuro All Mtn RC 2015 eBike is offered with the largest 400Wh battery to give a full days ride time.
It can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours and the new LCD display shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
