Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2017 Lapierre Overvolt AM 900+ is built to be the do-it-all electric mountain bike. It's new lightweight carbon chassis, revised geometry and 140mm of trail eating travel make it suitable for All Mountain / Trail / Enduro and Gravity riding. Combined with the 2017 Overvolt DWS makes this a truly capable machine with most versatility over wheel sizes & rider preference on mixed terrain.
I was lucky to be the first in the UK to own this bike and have now clocked 200 miles plus and can honestly say every mile has been spot on the money !!! The AM 900 is totally balanced and the frame is bomb proof, brakes are strong and the EX1 is smooth and responsive . Highly recommended bit of kit
New Features
For 2017 Lapierre have been working on a totally new and revised eBike frame, developed in house by 10 times world champion Nico Vouilloz to house a Bosch eBike 500Wh battery at the lowest possible point in the centre of the Overvolt frame.
Lapierre's GLP (Gravity Logic Project) centralises the mass in the eBike frame and allows for greater manoeuvrability and handling. Now on an even lighter full carbon chassis for 2017!

But wait, that's not all Lapierre have been working on for the 2017 Carbon Overvolt All Mountain range, they have developed a new exclusive DWS (Dual Wheel System). This clever system allows the user to interchange between 27.5 and 27.5+ wheels!
By simply inverting the rear hanger & placing the new wheels in the electric bike, the rider can switch between wheel sizes with ease.
If you are stuck between 27.5" and 27.5"+ for 2017 then this is the electric mountain bike for you!
Up front we see the new RockShox Pike RC fully air adjustable 27.5+ fork is built on 150mm travel and 35mm stanchions for ultimate stiffness and strength on the 2017 AM 900+ Carbon.
For 2017 Lapierre have opted for the brand new Sram Guide brakes, which replace the Avid X0 trail brakes we were previously used to. These twin piston beauty's offer superior amounts of stopping power, with minimal fade across long descents.
Now you can ascend faster than ever before and of course with the 4 pot brakes on larger rotors, bring your eBike to a stop just as fast when descending!
Overvolt - Are you ready to ride harder, faster & longer?
For 2017 Lapierre have developed an in house internal stealth dropper seat post built in so you can raise and lower the seat at the flick of a switch on the handlebars, whilst on the move. Thus adjustable for both uphill and downhill riding with minimal effort.
The new Sram EX1 is designed specifically with eBikes in mind for 2017. Sram have developed the worlds first eBike system with wide ratio 8 speed changing.
This new system is engineered for higher torque and low cadence shifting across the spectrum, the idea being you don't need so many incremental gears on an eBike.
The Lapierre AM 900+ offers a quick gear change with bigger ratios all makes sense as you change gear the extra ratio is apparent, combined with the eBike motor and you are quickly pushing away without realising!
This newly refined electric bike mech with the massive wide range 11 - 48t cassette gives ratios previously unheard of!
The Overvolt AM 900+ is the top spec 2017 Lapierre eBike. Offering a completely new setup for your true trail rider, the design really pays off in the ride, with a nice even weight distribution and even more manoeuvrability than ever. Expect the Overvolt to be popular!
Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Lapierre Overvolt AM 900+ 2017 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Lapierre AM 900+ features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
