Haibike xDuro AllMtn 8.0 FLYON 2021

Ordered bike on Thursday and had it by Monday.
After spending literally months waiting for a bike to be imported, and having been let down on several occasions, I decided to buy direct in the UK. This was the best decision I have made, and wish I had done it earlier.
The Haibike All Mountain 8.0 is a beast, and I’m so glad that I chose this bike.
The guys at e-bike shop have provided excellent service and communication has been seamless from start to finish.
If you’re looking for an extremely well finished bike with some power, then this is the bike for you.

I wanted to have a couple of months of ownership and some miles under the belt before I wrote a review on this bike. I LOVE IT!!!! The traction in adverse conditions is amazing and the power is awesome. I defy anyone to ride this bike without an enormous smile on their face. If Tesla owned the brand, they would have named the highest power setting their "Ludicrous" mode.... I chose the Flyon motor because of the power delivery and lack of internal gearing making it easier to cycle without power. It does not disappoint though why would you ever want to ride this bike without the power from the excellent motor and the 630Wh battery? The range should meet just about anyone's needs.
At the tender age of 62 and not an experienced mountain biker, I will never even remotely have the ability to test the capabilities of the bike to anywhere near its limit. However, I am sure it won't disappoint even the most skilled of riders.
Issues? If I had one it was the software app for the iPhone. Probably down to me though I tend to use Strava . I also think Haibike could improve their customer information systems and communication though this should not detract from Martin and his team who do a great job and any of my questions have been promptly answered.

This bike is so wonderful and fun to ride.

Does the new full suspension, 3.25inch tyres sduro do wainwrights routes on our fells? Well that was two done!
Only 210 more to go. Working mostly in eco mode other really steep sections I did 30km and climbed over 920meters in total. Brilliant workout but totally fun.

Did routes on this yesterday that are right at the top of my level that had to be walked with non assist full suspension. It just makes going up seriously steep slopes possible. Downhill it performed really well. Need another battery for over four hour sessions in the fells, not a problem on normal up and down routes but this was steep.

After my first trip out to Bike Park Wales I thought it's time to write up my review. The bike belies it's extra weight once on the move, and takes everything that is thrown at it.

The EI suspension works amazingly well and takes away the need to think about the suspension leaving the rider to concentrate on not out doing themselves in the technicals.

Having the yamaha system simply spirited me up the 25% climbs and long route to the top of the runs at BPW. Saving on uplifts and adding power boost for points where the trails needed it.

I would say that the only part of the bike which would need upgrading out of the box would be the Shimano Deore brake set up and fitting a Reverb dropper post. All in all one hell of a useful bit of kit.
