New for 2016 a whole new level of Lapierre Overvolt is unleashed! The new Yamaha powered Lapierre FS 500 bike with 150mm of travel and good spec components, this eBike is a good all rounder for trail, all mountain and bike park riding.

New Features
Lapierre have been working hard to create the ultimate Yamaha trail eBike for 2016 - Say hello to the new Overvolt!
Utilizing their already proven OST+ geometry and design skills from the Lapierre Zesty & Spicy range the new Overvolt FS 500 takes it to a whole new level for 2016.
Lapierre's very own Nico Vouilloz (10 times MTB World Champion) has tweaked the design of this eMTB to keep it performing above the rest when it comes to off road performance.
Lapierre have opted for the new Fox Float DPS shock on the FS 500 for 2016. It features 3 stages of adjustment for on-the-fly rider adjustment. This Dual Piston System allows for the shock to be completely locked out, left completely open or the mid stage allows maximum efficiency but gives as required when riding over bumpier terrain.
This adjustability gives full control over varied terrain.
On the 2016 Lapierre Overvolt FS 500 the wheels are 27.5" (650B), so optimize the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. Lapierre have selected a new set of wheels for 2016 - Mavic EN323's!
These are built on double wall rims, sealed through axle hubs and built with toughness in mind to handle even harsher all mountain conditions.
To maintain traction on these lovely wheels are the new Schwalbe Hans Dampf tyres, German made for superior grip on all mountain use across mixed terrain with maximum protection.
Although they come as standard with tubes, these tyres are fully tubeless compatible from stock.
We see Shimano deore hydraulic disc brakes on the Lapierre FS 500. These brakes offer minimal maintenance and ensure you can stop as fast as you accelerate.
A fully sealed system on larger rotors for maximum stopping power and featuring the new servo system built in the lever for more control.
For 2016 the Lapierre FS 500 features Fox 32 Float forks, with lighter and stiffer chassis than ever. Decent rebound and also damping controls with the 3 position lever setting like the Fox rear shock mentioned above.
By use of a shock pump, this air adjustable fork and shock can be tuned to the rider's weight allowing a truly versatile set up.
Yamaha eBike System
The new Lapierre Overvolt FS 500 2016 eBike is powered by the latest Yamaha electric bike system. Lapierre has partnered with Yamaha to bring a brand new line of eMTB's, this powerful 250w motor offers up to 280% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The new assistance is set in 4 levels for 2016 - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'. This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
The 2016 Yamaha system uses a 400Wh battery, now with an assisted range of up to 90 miles due to the new Eco+ assistance mode. The Overvolt FS 500 2016 eBike is offered with the largest 400Wh Yamaha battery to give a full day's ride time.
The Yamaha eBike battery can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours and the new LCD display shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. The charger now boasts an even smaller shell for 2016.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer remote worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
