Who is this bike suitable for?
The new Orbea Gain F25 is designed for your everyday cyclist who want's to explore both on road and on light paths. It's built with flat bars for comfort and offers a great all round lightweight hybrid electric bike with minimum fuss. The F25 differs from the F30 as it has lights, mudguards and a luggage rack built in too.
This bike is everything I was looking for in an e-bike. As an experienced cyclist, I didn't want to lose the "real feel" of cycling, I just wanted something to take the sting out of some of the climbs and this is exactly what the Orbea does.
New Features
The 2020 Orbea Gain F25 is designed to enhance your ride, not take over it. Your hard work is enhanced for more miles in the saddle.
The new 'F' models use the same chassis, battery and motor as the drop bar models. But are offered in a 'Flat Bar' setup for your everyday rider. This is combined with a handlebar controller so you can easily adjust the assistance models on the flat bars without moving your hands away whilst on the move.
Don't expect full power take over, expect 'Enough Power' to transform your ride smoothly and subtly.
The Orbea Gain F25 comes with a Shimano Claris group set. This means you get a 2 x 8 speed setup, offering 16 gears when combined with the motor to get up any hills. Which differs from most of the common 1 x setups on many other eBikes.
The Orbea F25 lightweight and agile bike that can be ridden both on power & fully disengaged off power. The visuals are so subtle that you'd find it hard to notice it's even a power assisted bike. Simple, subtle and embracing....
Power On Demand
The cleverly integrated power button on the Orbea Gain is situated in the top tube for easy reach.
It's used to navigated the 3 power modes and also displays the bikes battery level too.
Using the smart phone application further enhances the ride for those all important rider credentials.
Featuring ride and activity tracking, you Gain full control. A valuable tool for any road cyclist looking for the complete package.

Hidden Power
Most noticeable on any eBike is the battery. Not on the Orbea Gain, the battery is cleverly hidden in the frame.
It's designed to give 'Enough Power' not more, hence it can be smaller and more compact.
The Gain F25 2020 lightweight alloy frame and carbon forks offer a smooth, comfortable and nimble ride.
Comfort comes from the Selle Royal Custom saddle and comfortable handlebar grips. Combined with the Shimano Claris 8 Speed trigger shifters for smooth, crisp gear changes.
The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer reliable stopping in a fairly maintenance free setup. They are self adjusting, require little maintenance and have long lasting pads.
Drive System
The new drive system offers smooth and reliable assistance to enhance your ride, not dominate it.
By locating the motor cleverly in the wheel it completely disengages for a drag-free pedalling experience.
The F25 offers lightweight alloy rims which are agile but strong, wrapped with fast rolling Kenda 38c Hybrid Tyres with added kevlar puncture protection.
The Orbea Gain F25 2020 is built with maximum clearance, so a multitude of tyre sizes can be fitted up to 40c if required.
To complete the build, Orbea have fully equipped the F25 with mudguards, a pannier rack and built in lights which are powered of the eBike system itself.
Range Extender
The all new optional Range Extender charges the main internal battery when connected to your Orbea Gain. The range extender is a neat bottle design which attaches to the bottle cage mounts on the Orbea frame.
It has a capacity of 208Wh which increases overall capacity to over 450Wh when attached, giving a 70% boost to the overall range.
We offer the 2020 Orbea Gain F in two flat bar models. This is the Gain F25 which is fully equipped. We also offer the Gain F30 which is a similar spec bike but offers a clean look without mudguards, lights and a pannier rack.
Hidden Orbea Gain X35 eSystem
The best bit about the Orbea Gain electric road bikes is the completely 'hidden' eDrive system. Developed closely with eBikeMotion & Orbea in Spain, the system is designed to amplify your ride.
Designed to not take away 'the ride' but to gain on what you are doing. Extra watts allow the rider to climb bigger ascents and average a faster overall speed. A more enjoyable all round experience!
Offering 3 modes of assist - Controllable by the multi-function power button on the top tube.
Furthermore, full rider credentials are displayed in the Smart Phone (not essential) application including speed, distance travelled, altitude, battery capacity, trip time, to name just a few.
You can even link up Bluetooth heart rate monitors or simply connect your Android or iWatch to run alongside for the full sporting package.
Finally accessories include a 'Range Extender' plug & play, bottle cage power pack for double range.
