Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2016 Scott E-Genius 900 range is our offering of 29" trail bikes. With 140mm of travel these 29'er bikes are built around everyday trail use. With 140mm of travel it means they can also handle a little more. Built for All Mountain / Trail Center riding.
The bike itself is brilliant, nicely balanced and rides like a dream, the motor helps the ups and then the extra weight helps the downs and it steers where you point it, no flex or turning issues, a great true ride. Thank you for your help in getting me the right bike and back on the trails.
New Features
The 29'er bikes within the Scott electric mountain bike range, welcome the new E-Genius 900, brand new for 2016. With the new Bosch CX drive unit and 500Wh power pack!
Scott have collaborated with FOX suspension to offer a new lightweight 'Custom-tuned' rear shock to work in harmony with the full suspension frame design and geometry.
This new FOX shock is goes by the name of the - Nude. With custom Scott rebound damping and traction control.
Interestingly, Scott also allow the user 2 stages for the shock to operate. The quick chip on the rear linkage can be flipped to the riders liking, offering a low & high BB setting depending on the terrain - offering full control on the 2016 Scott electric bikes.
The E-Genius 910 2016 is offered with Shimano's new 11 speed drivetrain. The XT setup offers a huge range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth. So you have excellent ratios for both climbing and flying back down the trails.
The Shimano SLX disc brakes offer similar characteristics to the XT style brakes with servo action levers and larger callipers to offer good levels of braking and disperse heat efficiently.
For those who prefer the larger 29" wheels & all round well developed travel, the E-Genius 900 range offer just that.
The larger wheels are perfect for rolling faster and tackling obstacles, they also bode well with the taller riders.
For 2016 the wheels are built using a Shimano Deore front and rear hubs. These are laced onto strong yet lightweight Syncros X23 alloy double wall disc specific rims.
Scott have opted for the famous German Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo tyres for a fast rolling trail pace with low rolling resistance and tight grip. Perfect for UK trail centers. The Evo line are dual density and these offer the resilient 'snake skin' side wall.
Scott have specified the new 2016 FOX 34 Float 140mm travel forks on the E-Genius 900, with thicker stanchions perfect for less flex on bigger hits.
The forks are completely air adjustable and offer the famous CTD (Climb, Trail & Descent) modes for superior trail adjustment.
This adjustment is normally adjusted down on the forks / shock itself, but Scott have an exclusive remote TwinLoc lever design mounted up on the handlebars.
For 2016 the 910 come as standard with the new XT 11 speed, Fox suspension and even a internal RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post meaning minimal alterations, the E-Genius 910 is ready to ride out of the box. As no one else is really offering a true 140mm trail bike in a 29" version, we are sure this will be popular with the 29'er addicts out there. All this for sub £4k!

Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Scott E-Genius 910 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The E-Genius 910 features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
