Who is this bike suitable for?
With a carbon frame, 150mm of travel and 29" wheels, the new Scott E-Ride 900 Tuned 2020 electric bike is a highly capable bike. Offering plenty of travel for most bike parks and technical tracks, whilst still feeling playful on singletrack or XC routes. The 29" wheelset helps the Genius roll through the rougher terrain whilst Scotts TwinLoc suspension system allows for suspension adjustment on the fly.

New Features
An aggressive trail bike with PowerTube 625Wh battery and the New Gen 4 Performance CX Motor, The E-Genius 900 Tuned 2020 is Scott's Flagship bike with a spec to match.
The E-Genius 900 Tuned uses a custom Fox NUDE Rear shock, tuned for this bike. It's fully air adjustable to the riders weight and offers a huge amount of adjust ability in rebound and damping controls.
Up front we have a Fox 36 Float Factory Fit4 fork working in harmony with the rear via Scott's TwinLoc system. This allows for compression/travel adjustments on the fly, with Descend, Traction and lockout modes.
In Descend mode, the front and rear offer up a full 150mm of travel. Traction mode ramps up compression whilst shortening rear travel to a climbing friendly 100mm. Finally, lockout mode makes easy work of those smooth fire road sprints out of the saddle, eliminating any pedal bob.
Scott has developed a brand new 'Range Booster' for 2020 which features on the Genius models.
The Scott Genius eRide bikes have a 625Wh battery as standard within the frame. The user can opt for the 'Range Booster' which adds a secondary 500Wh Bosch battery to a specific mount within the frame which fits onto the bottle cage slots.
This results in a total range power of 1125Wh for maximum miles on your eBike without worry.
To recharge you only need one charger. The Bosch system will take into account both batteries on the bike and charge them individually. This system is available as an extra (in the options above) on all 2020 Scott Genius eRide mountain bikes purchased from us at the time of purchase.
Please Note: When opting for this on S/M frames the battery will stay in place for charging and is not removable due to the amount of space available. Removal is possible on L/XL frames.
If you opt for this setup. Our technicians will pre wire/configure your bike out of the box so it's ready to roll with both batteries when you get it. The price is £699.99, this includes all mounting hardware, cables, harness and labour free of charge. You just pay for the battery. If you have an existing battery you wish to use, then we can prepare the cabling harness and booster mount fitted for £99.99.
The frame on the 2020 Scott Genius is completely interchangeable for both 27.5+ and 29" wheels. This is because of Scott's clever flip chip technology, simply change the wheels and flip the chip to retain the same BB height for any riders preference on wheels.
Scott have developed the 'TwinLoc' system for both front & rear shocks featured on the Genius eRide for 2020.
The rider can control Open, Medium and Firm for both front & rear suspension remotely on the handlebars.
This system allows traction control depending on the terrain and if the rider is ascending or descending.
The Scott Genius 900 2020 comes as standard with a built in dropper post. The Fox transfer dropper is a stealth post so the cables are internally routed within the frame and gives the rider adjustable seat height with the flick of a switch on the handlebars.
The larger Shimano XT twin pot brakes are derived around free ride & offer the ideal braking performance for eBikes.
Allowing or stopping even under the more extreme eBike circumstances. The big rotors increase stopping power and mean they won't cook over longer descents.
No need for upgrades on the 2020 Scott Genius 900 TUNED.
Scott have equipped the Genius 900 TUNED with Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres at the front combined with a Hans Dampf at the rear. The perfect combo for all round grip in most conditions. Wrapped onto custom Syncross carbon 30mm tubeless ready rims built onto Boost hubs. These are exclusive the the Genius 900 TUNED!
The Scott Genius E-Ride 900 TUNED 2020 features the top of the line Sram X01 Eagle drive train.
This new gear setup from Sram allows a much wider range of gears to be used, in fact it's the widest range possible to date!
With a whopping 11-50t setup you'll be sure there's no climb or descent you cant tackle!
Using a type 3 roller clutch bearing means there's a smoother torque curve for quieter more precise gear shifting too.
The Sram X01 Eagle rear mech is made with an aluminium cage and lightweight hardware make it light and tough
In all the Genius 900 TUNED is Scott's flagship bike for 2020, and offers exclusively the carbon frame and wheel set. With top end components it's as light as it gets and there's no need for any upgrades. Did we mention it looks AMAZING too!
Bosch CX & Kiox eBike System
The new Scott Genius 900 TUNED eRide 2020 eBike features the new Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit & setup for optimum performance.
The 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 340% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
The Genius 900 features new 'PowerTube' Bosch 625Wh battery technology for 2020. Completely integrated into the frame, Scott have neatly designed it so it can be charged both on & off the bike.
Not forgetting the Bosch range booster mentioned above for up to 1125Wh of range!
The 2020 Bosch Kiox display is neat & compact with a super crisp resolution LCD display screen. The Bosch Kiox display offers all the rider credentials in a neat and easy to read user interface. Riders can see important factors like speed, distance and battery range on the screen.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
