Cube Editor Hybrid Electric Bikes
The lightweight and affordable commuter eBike, say hello to the new Cube Editor Hybrid electric bikes, built for your next adventure.
If you're looking for an electric bike that combines sleek styling, lightweight handling and effortless everyday practicality, the new Cube Editor Hybrid electric bikes should be right at the top of your list. Designed specifically for modern urban riding, the Editor Hybrid strips an e-bike back to the essentials while retaining everything you need for comfortable, efficient transport.
With a clean, minimalist frame, integrated battery and Bosch electric drive technology, it's a bike that's equally at home commuting to work, heading into town or enjoying a relaxed weekend ride. The latest Editor Hybrid range is all about making everyday cycling simpler, cleaner and more enjoyable.
One of the biggest attractions of the new Cube Editor Hybrid is its lightweight, streamlined design. The latest Editor Hybrid ONE 360 FE features a Super lite aluminium frame and weighs around 20kg fully equipped, while its integrated 360Wh battery provides a range of up to 60 miles depending on riding conditions and assistance level.
The Bosch Hub Line rear motor delivers smooth, quiet assistance with 45Nm of torque, giving you the extra push you need without compromising the natural feel of the bike. Add integrated lights, full mudguards, a rear luggage carrier and fast-rolling Continental tyres, and you've got an electric bike that's ready for everyday life straight out of the box.

The Cube Editor Hybrid is a lightweight urban electric bike designed primarily for commuting, city riding and everyday cycling. It combines CUBE's clean, minimalist frame design with Bosch electric assistance and practical equipment such as integrated lights, mudguards and luggage carriers. The result is an e-bike that doesn't look or feel overly complicated. It's designed to ride like a conventional bicycle, but with electric assistance available whenever you need it.
The big news for the latest Editor Hybrid range is the introduction of Bosch's Hub Line rear-wheel motor on the Editor Hybrid Hub models. Rather than placing the motor around the bottom bracket like a conventional mid-drive system, the Hub Line motor drives the rear wheel directly. This allows Cube to create a particularly slim and lightweight e-bike while still providing 45Nm of torque.
The new Editor Hybrid models equipped with the Bosch Hub Line motor feature 45Nm of torque. That might not sound as dramatic as the figures you'll see quoted for full-power e-MTBs, but that's not what the Editor Hybrid is designed for. The Hub Line is about providing smooth, quiet and natural assistance for everyday riding. For getting away from traffic lights, tackling hills and maintaining a comfortable pace on longer rides, 45Nm is a very useful amount of assistance.
Absolutely. In fact, commuting is one of its biggest strengths. The Editor Hybrid has been designed around practical everyday riding, and the fully equipped FE models come with features including mudguards, integrated lights and a rear luggage carrier. That means you don't necessarily need to add a load of accessories before your first commute. Add the low weight and slim frame design, and the Editor Hybrid is particularly easy to live with if you need to carry your bike upstairs, store it indoors or maneuver it through busy streets.
Weight varies according to the model and specification, but the new Editor Hybrid ONE 360 FE Uni weighs approximately 20kg fully equipped, including its lights and mudguards. The PRO 360 FE Uni is even lighter at around 19.5kg. That's impressively light for a fully equipped electric bike and is one of the major advantages of the Editor Hybrid. It's much easier to lift, carry and maneuver than many larger trekking-style e-bikes.
Yes. The new Editor Hybrid Hub models use a removable 360Wh battery, making charging particularly convenient. Being able to remove the battery means you don't necessarily need to take the whole bike inside to charge it. This can be especially useful if your bike is stored in a garage, shed, communal bike store or outside your home.
Both models are built around the same lightweight Editor Hybrid concept and Bosch Hub Line motor, but their specifications differ. The ONE 360 FE uses a conventional Shimano 8-speed drivetrain, making it a great choice if you want traditional gears and excellent everyday value. The PRO 360 FE takes things a step further with a Gates belt drive and single-speed setup. The belt is clean, quiet and doesn't require the regular lubrication associated with a conventional bicycle chain. If low maintenance is your priority, the PRO is particularly appealing.
Yes. The availability of different frame designs and sizes makes the Editor Hybrid suitable for a wide range of riders. The Uni frame is particularly useful if easy mounting is important, thanks to its lower stand over height. We always recommend checking the individual model's geometry and size chart before ordering. If you're unsure which size or frame style is right for you, our team at E-Bikeshop can help.
The FE designation means the bike comes fully equipped for practical everyday use. Depending on the model, this includes features such as full mudguards, integrated lighting, a rear luggage carrier and kickstand. The Editor Hybrid is therefore ready for commuting and everyday journeys straight out of the box, rather than requiring you to immediately spend extra money adding essential accessories.
