The perfect commuter (for hills!)

I don't have access to shower facilities at my office and therefore arrived in a pile of sweat when I cycled in. As I live in the Chilterns, I needed a bike that will assist me to work with plenty of punch up some hills that are 10-12%/400 ft of elevation. The lower-cost option e-bikes I believe are built for flat/city commuting, and wouldn't really fully assist me for what I needed. This bike is very well priced - it's not cheap but also isn't as dear as some! It rides great on the road, over golf courses, through woods and across gravel.

I tend to ride in 'TOUR' mode which makes most rides fairly effortless and stick it into EMTB for the steeper climbs. TURBO mode is handy for when you're on a serious incline - just remember to keep your cadence up/in a low gear as otherwise the motor can't really tell that you're climbing hard. Let the motor do the work and let your legs spin away.

What a great bike.

PS - remember to check the screws/nuts for the mudguards are tight before riding. I didn't and have lost a couple already from my first couple of rides. No biggy.

Enjoying cycling again

It's a real pleasure to be able to cycle again.This e-bike has enabled me to go on rides again of a distance I would not now be able to acheive on standard bike. The power settings are easily adjustable, the ride is both sturdy and comfortable. The e-bikeshop completed the tracked delivery on time. Many thanks
