Who is this bike suitable for?
The brand new 2021 Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race is set to be every bit as popular as its predecessor. Built for all types of trail riding whether single track, cross country or all mountain, its specification against a keen price point make it an outstanding value bike against any competitor. Driven by Bosch's latest Generation 4 Performance CX motor and a newly increased 85Nm of torque, a light weight carbon fibre frame and 29" wheelset, the 2021 Cube Stereo 140 models are an infinitely capable bike for aggressive trail riding and fast descents, with a playful ride and handle capable of tackling a wide range of terrain.

I was skeptical I could ascend a local very steep hill sitting down but I did and in torrentially wet conditions. The ability to have traction and āaccelerateā through hairpin bends whilst ascending is unique, as is the lower center of gravity which feel much safer and more controlled on steeper descents. All in all it is an amazing piece of kit.
New Features
The 2021 Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race uses the Generation 4 Performance CS motor, Bosch's most powerful motor to date. This is fed by their PowerTube Bosch 625Wh battery and controlled by the Purion display.
Cube have equipped the Stereo 140 HPC Race with the Deluxe Select rear shock from Rockshox. New Maxima Plush damping fluid has been used to reduce internal friction, ensuring smooth operation over any terrain.
Ready to be more adventurous? Simply open it up the lockout on the forks and shock to unleash the full potential of this 140mm travel bike.
The Debonair air spring rear schock offers a highly tune-able and consistent feel to your ride and which can be adjusted for the riders weight. Up front Cube had equipped the Rockshox 35 Silver fork.
The 35mm chassis of the Rockshox 35 Silver forks deliver a premium look to match their performance and the rest of the bike and offer outstanding performance at their price point ad round out the comfortable ride on the new-look Stereo 140 Race.
Carbon Fibre Frame
Building on the success of the 2020 version, the new 2021 Stereo 140 offers the same super smooth raw carbon finish with seamless lines and minimal decals to keep a clean look. The frame also features fully internal cable routing in keeping with the minimalist "no fuss" look.
The Stereo Hybrid models from Cube are the most keenly priced full carbon bikes on the market. Their aggressive pricing strategy against their competitors means they continue to turn out the best value bikes on the market, without comprising on specification.
Much like Rockshox higher level forks, the 35 Silver fork can be adjusted with volume spacers to fine tune the fork progression through their travel to cater for all types of rider weight and feedback preference.
Cube have spec'd the Stereo 140 HPC Race 2021 with Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes, with 4 piston calipers on the front and rear. Combined with 203mm rotors on both the front and rear, this bike really does pull up quickly!
The Cube Stereo 140 2021 bites into the trail with 2.6" Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres. These well proven tyres are the perfect all-rounder for a bike designed with versatility in mind.
The 29" wheels and 2.60" width tyres give a wide footprint and contact patch, allowing for running of lower tire pressures to offer superb cushioning and all round trail comfort.
Cube have used their own tubeless ready factory 29" rims on the Stereo 140 again in 2021, with Shimano boost hubs. These 30mm wide rims offer an excellent base for an ever widening range of off-road tyres.
Cube took an "if it isnt broke, dont fix it" approach to the 2021 Stereo 140 HPC and very little at all was required to maintain its dominance as a budget eMTB able to fight with many far more expensive competitors. Much of its specification is already ahead of the competition, right down to internal routing for all cables including Cube's own stealth dropper seat post. The latest 625Wh Bosch PowerTube battery is neatly and completely integrated into the frame using Cube's "Modular Battery System" - designed to securely hold the battery and keeping it rattle free. Many of its competitors are still simply hiding the battery with a plastic cover!
The secure locking assembly for the battery is hidden underneath the impact resistant cover to avoid dirt ingress.
The Cube Stereo 140 HPC Race 2021 features the Sram NX Eagle 12-Speed group set.
The latest X-HORIZON design reduces chain slap and shifting force to offer a smooth and ultra reliable setup.
SRAM's new derailleurs use a type 3 roller clutch bearing for a smoother torque curve and much less movement over rough terrain, whilst still offering smooth and much lighter shifting from the bars.
The SRAM PG-1210 Eagle 11-50t cassette offers one of the widest ratio choices of any cassette on the market. At the very top, you have the unparalleled ability to climb absolutely anything you can point the bike at while at the bottom, you'll find you're still not compromised on top end speed over flat ground.

Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Cube Stereo 140 HPC Race 625 2021 eBike features the newest and most powerful Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit & setup for optimum trail performance.
The 250w Bosch Performance CX system outputs 85Nm of torque & peaks at 500w output It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 340% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
The Stereo 140 also features the latest 'PowerTube' design Bosch 625Wh battery technology for 2021. Completely integrated into the frame for security and safety, Cube have cleverly designed it so it can be charged both on and off the bike.
The 2021 Bosch Purion display is neat & compact with a super crisp resolution monochrome LCD display, showing you all of what you need at a glace, allowing you to focus on your ride. Further information is available on a rotation of screens with just a single button press.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
