I was skeptical I could ascend a local very steep hill sitting down but I did and in torrentially wet conditions. The ability to have traction and āaccelerateā through hairpin bends whilst ascending is unique, as is the lower center of gravity which feel much safer and more controlled on steeper descents. All in all it is an amazing piece of kit.

The 2022 Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Action Team has one of the biggest list of new features of any 2022 Cube eMTB. An entirely redesigned frame offers a completed redefined geometry and kinematics, with a newly optimised rear wheel path.
Whatever your trail has to throw at you, the Kashima coated Fox Float 36 Factory forks and brand new Float X Factory shock can soak it up with ease. Almost infinite adjustability allows you to tailor your setup regardless of rider weight or terrain.
Arguably the most exciting update for 2022 is the new Bosch 750Wh battery (available on sizes Medium upward) and the new Bosch Smart System, which on the Action Team models includes their new Kiox 300 Display. You can read all about the new 2022 Bosch ebike system here.
For 2022, Cube will be supplying Shimano XT BR-M8120 brakes on the Stereo Hybrid 140 Action Team. These 4 piston brakes offer a huge amount of braking force, making them the go to option for manufacturers looking to pull an eBike to a stop on even the steepest and most technical descents. Faster piston retraction gives superior modulation and much greater fast and slow speed control. Paired with 203mm discs front and rear, they're a formidable set of anchors and right at home on the Action Team models.

Bosch CX & Kiox eBike System
The new Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Action Team 2022 eBike features the latest Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, with a brand new twist.
The recently updated 250w CX system now provides 85Nm of torque and peaks at 500w. With 4 assistance modes, it can now provide up to 340% assistance in Turbo mode. In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set off in one assistance mode and clever sensor driven system will provide exactly the right amount of power right when you need it and less when you don't.
Part of the brand new "Smart System" 2022 Bosch Update, the new 2022 140 Action Team features their new Bosch 'PowerTube' 750Wh battery. Completely integrated into the frame, Cube have already neatly incorporated it into their "Modular Battery System", allowing it to be charged both on and off the bike. (Due to frame size restrictions, the 40cm/S frame will still get the 625Wh battery, and gets a reduced price to compensate).
The new Bosch Kiox 300 display is neat and super compact with a bright, intuitive LCD display screen and tailored around helping riders with their training. It can also be updated wirelessly via the new eBike Flow app.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
