Folding small enough to fit in a boot, under a desk, in the hull storage of a yacht and even under your stairs at home the new Gocycle G4i+ can tackle the ultra-urban commute as easily as weekend leisure rides around countryside, light off-road cycle paths and docks and marinas. The worlds first truly fully folding integrated electric bike just got a whole lot better! The + model also shaves weight in the form of a fully carbon fibre wheelset.

Simple, clever, fun
Designed by previous McLaren F1 racing car designer Richard Thorpe, the new Gocycle G4i+ offers clever simplicity in a new, fun package.
The G4i+ is their new mid level folding electric bike but offers much of the spec of the G4i and G4i+ including its patented CleanDrive system, its new motor/gearbox assembly, intelligent 3 speed gearing and new carbon frame components.

As well as all of the features of the G4 and G4i models, the G4i+ comes with a full carbon fibre wheelset.
The G4i+ dashboard uses LED lights to provide information to the rider.
This includes: current gear selection, speed, light controls and battery charge state. All of this is built into a clean, easy to use cockpit. This clutter free approach consists of just brake levers and a button each side to operate on demand power and manual shifting.
Daytime Running Light
The Gocycle G4i+, being the top spec bike in the new 4th Generation model line-up also features daytime running light (DRL).
New European law states that all vehicles from 2014 are required to have DRL's which offer improved safety to road users by increasing visibility and Gocycle have got ahead of the game on their folding eBikes.
The Gocycle G4i+ comes with a fully integrated DRL built into the dash, of course Gocycle take it to a whole new level using patented light pipe technology offering a huge increase in visibility.
Gocycle G4i Folding
The new Gocycle G4i+ shares its folding frame design with the rest of the 4th Generation model range. Taking less than 10 seconds to fold, the wheels remain in place so the bike can be pushed along.
Nothing needs to be removed from the bike to fold, but the saddle and post can be quickly removed to further decrease its folded size. A removable battery is now standard across the whole 4th Generation range.
When folded down the Gocycle G4i+ takes up barely any space at all. You can safely store and transport two to three in the back of an average car boot and a single bike slides easily under a desk at work.
The G4i+ also fits through the engine bay/hull/storage hatch in many boats.
The folded dimensions are approximately:- L830mm x W370mm x H615mm (L34.6in x W14.6in x H24.2in) with pedals folded.

This super simple solution to an easily foldable eBike design means there's no visible cables, no oily chain and no external gears to adjust - Just hop on, and enjoy the ride! This not only minimises hassle but also makes it a readily "wipe clean product". To keep your new Gocycle G4i+ in top condition, you only need to wipe it over with soapy water - no fiddly nooks or crannies to get in to!
The new G4i+ with its patented CleanDrive system offers an "anti chain slap" system - the chain is silent in motion and when the Gocycle is transported on it's side.
Practical & Stylish
Every aspect of the new Gocycle G4i+ has been designed to an exceptional standard and a strong focus on usability and ride-ability. Being so simple to use opens it to riders of almost all ages and abilities.
Key to its simplicity, the G4i+ you can be simply unfolded, turned on with the press of one button and you can immediately start pedalling. Its really that simple. Using a torque sensor built into the cranks/CleanDrive system, the Gocycle G4i+ measures rider input constantly while riding, and applies power when you need it. All you have to do is point it in the right direction!
Two Wheel Drive
The Gocycle G4i+ with its proprietary drive system offers incredible traction and power.
Your efforts power the rear wheel directly. While pedalling, this clever bike measures your input, and sends an equal amount of power to the front wheel via its powerful but well hidden micro motor hidden for a quick, minimal-effort, zero emission journey.
This clever design isn't just for speed - it also offers a near perfect front and rear power balance ratio to ensure a smooth ride.
Feeling strong? The Gocycle G4i+ can be ridden in exactly the same way as an ordinary bike when switched off, in its normal powered mode (with the motor mimicking your pedal input to the rear with power to the front), or you switch to on-demand power at the touch of a button. (Activate on App).
Electronic Shifting
Gocycle specifically designed the cockpit on the G4i+ to be completely clutter free. Removing the need for a manual shifter, the G4i+ will automatically shift up and down through gears as the riders pedal cadence increases and the terrain changes.
The G4i+ can even sense when you've come to a stop and instantly down change down to the lowest gear, readying itself for the next take off!
The Gocycle G4i+ utilises a patented Shimano Nexus 3 speed hub gear on the rear. The rider can also choose their own gear using the electronic button built into the handlebar grip and the lights on the cockpit will relay the current selection back to the rider.
The new Gocycle G4i+ cockpit comes with ergonomically designed grips with a rotary "on demand" power twist grip on the right.
One side also allows the user to quickly change up and down gear at the flick of the grip whilst the other side offers power on demand and doubles up as the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) adjustment from low - high beam and flashing modes.
Designed To Fit You
The Gocycle design principle is unique and fits any height of rider, be it 5ft2 of 6ft2. Their trademark Vgonomicā¢ frame design and geometry system provides fully adaptable fitting with a superior level of comfort for a wide range of body types.
Gocycle models use an automotive inspired adjustable "driving position". Cars of course come in one size with an adjustable position - so does Gocycle. Just as with increasing the frame size on a regular bike increases height.
Did you know, the wheel-base, centre-to-centre actually has the same length as a regular bicycle? This means it's more natural to ride & doesn't feel like a smaller more compact electric bike while remaining nimble in and out of town.
Agile & User Friendly
The Gocycle models are the only folding eBikes built to fold so small without removing components, but with true rider's agility and handling. Its light enough to throw over your shoulder, and the overall weight is so well balanced that if you pick it up in the middle it doesn't tilt at all!

You can take the Gocycle G4i+ to a whole new level of user control with the new GocycleConnect App. Although not required to ride the bike, it's nice to have full flexibility over what your G4 can do.
Pair your Gocycle G4i+ via Bluetooth through the smartphone app, you can tailor the eBike to your specific needs. Quickly change assistance modes from City, Eco and full On Demand modes.
Want more flexibility? No problem, you can even pre-set custom modes! Simply use the slider graphs to control when you would like motor assistance vs pedal effort. Click upload and the new custom mode is instantly flashed over onto your Gocycle ready to ride!
The Gocycle Connect G4i+ smartphone app opens up a whole new level of features. You can log certain cycle parameters like distance / time travelled, calorie burn, mpg, litres saved, battery capacity, adjust the top assisted speed & even check the weather!
This new application for the G4i models also doubles up as a easy troubleshooting tool & security device. If your bike is stolen and someone tries to pair with it, we can remotely lock the bike down, Genius! Also if any future updates come out, you can easily update your Gocycle when connected to your smartphone. It's future proof.
