Who is this bike suitable for?
The brand new for 2021 Haibike AllMtn 5 is Haibike's mid spec 160mm travel offering. The AllMtn 5 now comes in two variants, including the FLYON driven version. The bike comes with the newly updated Bosch firmware - 85Nm of torque, a 625Wh battery along with lots of other premium spec to offer a riding platform which offers great value and encourages new riders to push themselves while not holding back a more advanced rider. Built for all mountain, fast trail riding and technical descents, it's tough enough for more demanding trails but light enough for cross country too.
I have already put it through its paces and I am so blown away by how incredible my bike looks. It certainly turns heads. I took it down into a nearby Gorge which has fantastic fast pace tracks and wow, it's an absolute beauty to ride. Coming back up out of the Gorge blew me away with how powerfully the motor pulls the bike up 12 to 15% gradient climbs. I'm so happy with my new bike and can't stop riding it.

Haibike Modular Rail System
The all new MRS (Modular Rail System) from Haibike allows accessories to be integrated neatly onto your new Haibike electric Bike. This can include anything from a water bottle to a lock.
Exclusively compatible with new Haibike electric bikes with Bosch 'InTube' integration, this system is both flexible and versatile in a way that's never been possible before.
At E-Bikeshop we'll exclusively be offering these accessories fitted to your new bike. Any that you add to the basket will arrive fitted, these cannot be purchased separately for bikes bought elsewhere.
In true Haibike German design the accessories are matched perfectly, with quality fixings like the water bottle for example, which quickly snap locks back into place when you get it back near the magnets. Thus not allowing it to fall off mid ride!
Furthermore, you are not restricted to just one accessory. Many you can mount in tandem, like the frame lock and bottle for example.
Please Note: These accessories are only compatible with Haibikes using the MRS system.
New Features
This section normally details the updates from the previous model year, but the Bosch driven AllMtn 5 is a brand new model for 2021.
Haibike have equipped the new AllMtn 5 with a RockShox Deluxe Select+ rear shock. New Maxima Plush damping fluid has been used to reduce stiction to ensure smooth operation.
The Select+ features lockout to firm up the rear. Ready to hit the downhill sections? No problem, simply open it up to unleash the full potential of this 160mm travel shock.
The Debonair air spring offers a highly tune-able and consistent feeling shock, which can be adjusted for the riders weight. Up front Haibike had equipped the Rockshox Lyric Ultimate RC fork.
The RockShox Lyric Ultimate RC's offer stiff 35mm stanchions, a Motion Control Damper and are fully air adjustable, dependant on the rider's weight by use of a shock pump.
The xDuro AllMtn 5 2021 has Shimano Deore XT M8000 brakes with a 203mm rotor front and rear. These four pot brakes offer excellent power and modulation, with various pad compounds available to suit the rider.
In keeping with the rest of the AllMtn range, Haibike continue their "Mullet Bike" theme, using a 27.5+ wheel at the rear and 29" up front, but wrapped around the DT Swiss H1900.
This keeps the handling tight whilst offering the rollover characteristics of a 29". The 2021 AllMtn 5 ships with a Maxxis Minion DHF up front and Minion DHF at the rear - a favoured combination amongst many types of rider both for super slippy areas, up hill grip and down hill control.
The 2.8/2.6" width combination gives a wide footprint of grip, whilst offering the ability for running lower pressures for superb cushioning and trail comfort.
With the lighter, more powerful and compact Bosch Gen 4 Performance CX motor, Haibike have opted for the same 10mm shorter chain stays for 2021, whilst moving away from the need for the S.E.S pulley used on previous AllMtn models.
This shorter chain stay strikes the perfect balance between climbing and descending performance, offering plenty of manoeuvrability whilst stopping the front from feeling too vague on technical climbs.
The new Bosch Gen 4 motor uses a "full size" SRAM X-Sync front sprocket - a 38t wide-narrow chain ring as standard to ensure chain retention. This hasn't stopped Haibike from also fitting a chain guide for peace of mind when it comes to dropped chains, regardless of the terrain.
The 2021 Haibike AllMtn 5 eBike is equipped with the new Sram SX Eagle 12-speed group set.
The X-HORIZON design reduces chain slap and the shifting force offering a smooth reliable setup.
You'll notice the huge 12 speed cassette which offers an incredible 11 to 50t for both up and down hill, offering a gear range of 500%.
Whilst being Srams entry level 12 speed group set, the SX Eagle delivers an excellent shifting experience with a reliable roller clutch and the ever useful Cage Lock to ease wheel removal or fitting.
Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Haibike AllMtn 5 2021 eBike features the newest and most powerful Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit & setup for optimum trail performance.
The 250w Bosch Performance CX system outputs 85Nm of torque & peaks at 500w output It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 340% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
The 2021 AllMtn 5 also features the latest 'PowerTube' design Bosch 625Wh battery technology for 2021. Completely integrated into the frame for security and safety, Haibike have cleverly designed it so it can be charged both on and off the bike.
The 2021 Bosch Purion display is neat & compact with a super crisp resolution monochrome LCD display, showing you all of what you need at a glace, allowing you to focus on your ride. Further information is available on a rotation of screens with just a single button press.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
