Who is this bike suitable for?
The new 2016 Haibike sDuro AllMtn RC offers a mid range all mountain eBike with 150mm travel. This good specced eMTB is built for All Mountain / Trail Centre / Free Ride use. One of the most versatile styles of eBikes on offer.
At first the bike just put a great big smile on my face the moment I set off & within a couple of hours of riding I had sent Martin an email which contained many words that I can't repeat here but lets just say I was pleased!..
New Features
For 2016 the Haibike sDuro AllMtn RC hosts a whole new specification. Now with even better grade components!
Built using a hydroformed stiff and lightweight chassis this 150mm all mountain bike is setup to be put through it's paces. A truly versatile machine for a mix of riding styles. It's not too big for trail centers but will also handle the odd bike park too.
New for 2016 the sDuro AllMtn RC hosts a Rockshox Monarch RT rear shock. This new design offers silky smooth travel and due to it's lightweight design handles the bumps better than ever!
This air adjustable shock can be set to the rider's weight to give a plush feeling but suck up anything it needs to.
The Rockshox Monarch offers rider flexibility with the 'Pedal' function where the shock will remain fairly solid whilst pedalling to maintain efficiency. The new Rockshox Sektor Gold also offer this flexibility with the 'TurnKey' lockout and full air adjustability.
The 2016 Sektor Golds are based around technologies on the top end forks but come in at an affordable price.
For 2016 the sDuro AllMtn RC wheels are 27.5" (650B), so optimize the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size.
The wheels come as standard with tubes but a fully tubeless ready. We see XLC sealed hubs built on strong double wall alloy rims.
These wheels are strong enough for full attack, but offer a lightweight design and easy removal due to the quick release through axle hubs.
We see the upgraded Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes for increased stopping power over it's predecessor, now with larger rotors front and rear for maximum braking and minimum fade over longer descents.
For 2016 Haibike have equipped the sDuro AllMtn RC with a XLC dropper seat post as standard with so you can raise and lower the seat at the flick of a switch on the handlebars, whilst on the move. Perfect for climbing back up those descents.
The Yamaha system allows a dual ring at the front, so the AllMtn SL for 2016 boasts a 2x10 Shimano gear setup. This 20 speed system offers a wide mixed of ratios for the user both up and down hill.
The new Shimano XT mechs are lighter weight and offer even crisper gear changes. All the Shimano Shadow mechs offer a clutch system to reduce chain suck and keep an overall crisp feeling with less flex and bounce over the rougher bumps.
It's nice to see a hint of XT on the AllMtn RC model considering it comes in just over £3K!
Also new for 2016 are the award winning Schwalbe Nobby Nic rubbers. These German made tyres are ideal for varied / all mountain use with dual compound grip so they roll fast but maintain grip in the corners.
Yamaha eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro AllMtn RC is powered by the latest Yamaha electric bike system. Haibike has partnered with Yamaha to bring a brand new line of sDuro eBikes, this powerful 250w motor offers up to 280% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The new assistance is set in 4 levels for 2016 - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'. This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
The 2016 Yamaha system uses a 400Wh battery, now with an assisted range of up to 90 miles due to the new Eco+ assistance mode. The Haibike sDuro All Mtn RC 2016 eBike is offered with the largest 400Wh Yamaha battery to give a full day's ride time.
The Yamaha eBike battery can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours and the new LCD display shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. The charger now boasts an even smaller shell for 2016.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer remote worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
