Who is this bike suitable for?
The Haibike sDuro Cross 7.0 2018 electric bike is perfect for those looking for a sporty model, but tend to rider lighter terrain. Built with frames based on the mountain bikes but with the geometry set for a 700C wheel, this bike is equipped for your sportier rider looking for that middle ground between a clutter free trekking bike and a mountain bike, more commonly know as a hybrid bike.
After doing a lot of research into electric bikes and visiting a number of dealers, my wife and I were impressed with the knowledge and advice given at e-bikeshop, we did experience a technical problem with one of the bikes, but with e-bikeshop's service, they went the extra mile to ensure that the problem was resolved quickly leaving us as very happy customers.
New Features
The Haibike sDuro Cross 7.0 is available in both Men's (crossbar) & Unisex (approx 2" drop) variants for 2018.
The unisex variant offers a slightly lower cross bar and refined geometry to allow a slightly more upright position.
For 2018 the sDuro Cross 7.0 is built on the Bosch Performance CX drive and higher capacity 500Wh battery for longer duration in the saddle. Based on the sDuro Trekking 7.0 but without all the gear, a clean looking & lightweight bike.
Haibike have equipped this new Cross 7.0 electric bike with Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes.
These are both lightweight and strong stoppers. Ideal for conventional riders looking for good stopping power with minimal maintenance. The 2018 Cross 7.0 features the Suntour NCX front suspension fork, offering a mild 63mm of travel to take the zing out of the front end. These lightweight fork's are constructed of magnesium lowers also feature a lockout so the rider can switch between locked and open when changing terrain surfaces.
The 2018 sDuro Cross eBike is equipped with Shimano's wide range 11 speed drive train. The SLX / XT setup offers a huge range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth at the rear.
All the Shimano Shadow mech's offer a clutch system to reduce chain suck and keep an overall crisp feeling with less flex and bounce over the rougher bumps.
This offers excellent ratios for both climbing & picking up speed on long flat areas. Couple this with XT rapid fire 11 speed shifters, the gearing is both responsive and crisp.
Haibike have finished the xDuro Cross 7.0 eBike with sealed through axle Haibike disc hubs laced onto strong and lightweight Rodi alloy double wall rims.
The tyres are provided by Schwalbe's famous 'Smart Sam' tyre. A fast roller in the middle, but with nobbles each side to bite into any loose gravel or sticky places for added grip.

Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro Cross 7.0 2018 eBike features the Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike! In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set in one assistance mode and the system itself will determine the assistance offered.
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike Cross 7.0 features the Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery, so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.
For 2018 Haibike have equipped the Intuvia display, offering all the essential parameters on one easy to read display, including:- Speed, assistance mode, average, speed, range, odometer and battery bar.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
