Who is this bike suitable for?
The new Haibike sDuro FullLife 6.0 is designed specifically for ladies looking for a 120mm travel mountain bike which is comfortable for single track, cross country & trail riding. For the first time, a ladies specific version with Yamaha drive and full suspension.
I was sceptical I could ascend a local very steep hill sitting down but I did and in torrentially wet conditions. The ability to have traction and āaccelerateā through hairpin bends whilst ascending is unique, as is the lower centre of gravity which feel much safer and more controlled on steeper descents. All in all it is an amazing piece of kit.
New Features
The 2018 sDuro FullLife 6.0 is offered with 120mm of travel, dual ring 20 speed setup. Now including the new Yamaha PW-SE series motor & 500Wh Yamaha battery.
The suspension on the FullLife 6.0 eBike is provided by RockShox at the front with the Recon air & oil dampened fork.
This is all air adjustable so the performance of the fork can be set to each individual rider's weight.
These forks also feature the remote PopLoc system that allows the user to lock the forks out on the fly for optimum efficiency when climbing, this is all controlled neatly up on the handlebar mounted switch.
To match the front, the sDuro FullLife 6.0 2018 eBike hosts a 120mm travel Rockshox Monarch RT rear shock. This design offers silky smooth travel & due to it's lightweight design handles the bumps better than ever!
The air adjustable shock can be set to the rider's weight to give a plush feeling but suck up anything it needs to. The Monarch offers rider flexibility with the 'Pedal' function where the shock will remain fairly solid whilst pedalling to maintain efficiency.
Haibike equip the sDuro FullLife ladies bike with Magura's MT trail brakes. Designed with a twin piston for extra stopping power at the front. Combined with a single piston at the rear.
This offers great power to the rear and more to the front where 70% of your overall stopping power comes from.
The Haibike sDuro FullLife grips the trail with Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance tyres. Offering great grip and fast rolling for mixed terrain.
Haibike have adopted their own factory wheel set onto the FullLife 6.0 with Haibike hubs and Rodi Black Rock alloy lightweight rims using DT Swiss spokes.
Yamaha PW-SE eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro FullLife 6.0 is powered by the Yamaha PW-SE electric bike system. This new system for 2018 offers up to 280% assistance and peaks at 70Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The PW-SE supports a higher cadence than the standard PW Series, now offering up to 110rpm.
The assistance is offered in 5 levels - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'.
This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
The Yamaha PW-SE system uses a larger capacity 500Wh battery, now with an assisted range of up to 110 miles due to the new Eco+ assistance mode & 25% increase in capacity.
The Yamaha eBike battery can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours and the new LCD display mounted on the handlebars, shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. Offered with a lightweight and compact charger.

Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
