Who is this bike suitable for?
The Haibike sDuro HardSeven 4.0 2020 model is a great all rounder and very well priced with the latest generation of Yamaha eBike motor and 500Wh battery pack. It's suitable for woodland, trails, off road, lanes, paths tracks as well as the road too.
Wow, this is a great bike. I have purchased sub £1k hub motor powered bikes but they do not touch this bike. The Yamaha motor is superb and the way the power is delivered is so smooth. The bike feels great when riding and looks even better in the flesh , pictures do not do it justice. You won't be disappointed. Thanks guys for an awesome bike.
New Features
Haibikes's new sDuro HardSeven 4.0 is the first model in the range to feature a 500Wh Yamaha battery pack and the new Yamaha PW-ST motor for a full day in the saddle!
Now with Shimano's new Deore wide range gearing which offers a wide range 11-42t cassette on the rear, coupled with Shimano's dual ring on the front.
This setup then offers a 2 x 10 speed setup for overall 20 speed. It;s one of the only models to feature a dual ring so you have a 'granny' ring for climbing and an outer bigger ring for descending. This is the only bike in our whole range to offer a 20 speed setup!
The RockShox Rekon TK fork upfront uses an easy boost through axle and is sprung on a steel coil spring. It also has the new lockout adjustment so you can fully lock or fully open the fork, or have it set anywhere in between for full control!
On the 2020 sDuro HardSeven 4.0 we see the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes front and rear with larger 180mm rotors.
Offered with Rodi Black Rock alloy double wall rims, both light weight & strong. Combined with Schwalbe Smart Sam Active tyres for maximum grip & least resistance when on the road.
The wheels are quick release front and rear making wheel removal a breeze. A great way into the eMTB scene without breaking the bank.
Equipped with Schwalbe's Smart Sam tires, these tires have a tight central pattern for excellent rolling speed, offering reliable grip on a mix of terrain including the road.
The shoulders of the tire have wider spacing with a more aggressive tread to optimise off road grip during cornering, making them a solid all rounder.
Yamaha PW-SE eBike System
The new 2020 Haibike sDuro HardSeven 4.0 features the brand new 2020 Yamaha PW-ST drive system. This new motor has a built in quad sensor which applies assistance in a even more efficient and smooth way. It makes the PW-St the perfect all rounder for different riding styles.
The assistance is offered in 4 levels - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'. Now also featuring the Automatic Support Mode which selects the right ammount of riding assistance based on the terrain.
This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control. The HardSeven 4.0 2020 eBike uses the 500Wh which can be charged on the frame or removed easily for charging too.
The new LCD display mounted on the handlebars, shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. Offered with a lightweight and compact charger.

Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
