Who is this bike suitable for?
The Haibike sDuro HardLife 4.0 is the entry level Bosch CX powered hard tail in the Haibike range made specifically for ladies. It's a great base for ladies wanting to try some forest paths, tracks, trails and use on the road too.
As a keen e-bike rider I have been waiting a long time for a ladies mountain e-bike. I feel this bike was built for me, the handle bars are in the perfect position, the seat is reasonably comfortable. Wow FINALLY a ladies e-bike that looks and feels awesome.
New Features
The entry level ladies Bosch CX powered hard tail with 500Wh battery & 120mm front travel. Welcome the Haibike sDuro HardLife 4.0 for 2018 in frame sizes and geometry specific for ladies.
The new NX system offers the same same smooth and reliable shifting of it's bigger brother with the 12 tooth X-SYNC pulley wheels.
The X-HORIZON design reduces chain slap and the shifting force offering a smooth reliable setup.
You'll notice the new huge 11 speed cassette which offers an incredible 11 to 42t setup meaning this is the largest range ever possible on an electric mountain bike!
Up front Haibike have fitted a Suntour XCR suspension fork with 120mm travel and remote lockout. This fork is fully air adjustable and the rider can lock out the fork by use of a switch on the handlebars without leaning down.
On the 2018 sDuro HardLife 4.0 we see the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes front and rear with larger 180mm rotors.
Couple this with Haibike's own MTB saddle and lock-on grips, making sure it's comfortable too.
Haibike have equipped the HardLife 4.0 with Rodi Black Rock alloy double wall rims, both light weight & strong. These are quick release front & rear making wheel removal a breeze.
Finally Haibike have chosen Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres to offer multi-use tread. Light, nimble but grippy in slippery areas, the Smart Sam is a good intermediate tyre.
Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro HardLife 4.0 2018 eBike features the Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike HardLife 4.0 features the Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery, so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.
For 2018 Haibike have equipped the new Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
