Who is this bike suitable for?
With 100mm of travel, this hard tail electric bike for 2017 is the entry level model within the Haibike sDuro range. The HardSeven 4.0 2017 eBike is built on cost effective components without compromising quality. It is designed for the eMTB'er who wishes to take on some of the local trails. It is suitable for XC / Trail use. This eBike also be used as a clutter free commuting electric bike.
Expectations exceeded! This might be the 'entry level' Haibike, but its hugely impressive; 900km miles in I absolutely love riding it.... so much fun!

The 2017 Haibike sDuro HardSeven 4.0 is available in 2 colours and a vast array of sizes. Suitable for both him and her, this entry level hard tail offers a versatile bike at incredibly good value.
Offered with a Shimano Altus 9 speed gear system, with fast acting trigger shifter's and front chain guide.
Featuring the Yamaha eBike system and 400Wh battery, this bike is great for getting out and exploring the great outdoors.
The 100mm travel Suntour front forks are both lightweight and comfortable. With air adjustment depending on the riders weight and a full lockout function it can be fast and nimble where require or opened up for superior comfort.
The 27.5" wheels are made up of XLC disc hubs which are quick release front and rear, these are laced onto Rodi disc specific alloy double wall rims and Sapim double butted spokes. A strong but lightweight wheel set, perfect for your everyday biker in 2017!
On the 2017 sDuro HardSeven 4.0 we see the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes front and rear with larger 180mm rotors for increased stopping power.
Although the entry level model sDuro, Haibike have also managed to squeeze a decent set of Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres into the equation.
These tyres offer decent off road grip but don't pick up too much resistance on tarmac or hard pack terrain.
Finished with lightweight alloy stem and wide 720mm bars, the 2017 HardSeven 4.0 comes in at just 21kg!
Couple this with a Selle Royal Voga saddle and XLC sport lock-on grips it's comfortable too.
The Haibike sDuro HardSeven 7.0 offers a great way into electric mountain biking without breaking the bank, a popular model, we expect it to be popular again for 2017. Yamaha eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro HardSeven 4.0 is powered by the latest Yamaha electric bike system. Haibike has partnered with Yamaha to bring a brand new line of sDuro eBikes, this powerful 250w motor offers up to 280% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The assistance is set in 3 levels - 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'. This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
On this model Haibike have equipped the smaller LED control which sits to the side of the handlebars offering parameters like speedometer, range meter and battery capacity.
The Haibike sDuro Hard Seven 4.0 2017 eBike is offered with the 400Wh Yamaha battery to give a full day's ride time.
The Yamaha eBike battery can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours using the smaller shell quick charger.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
