Who is this bike suitable for?
The sDuro HardSeven 8.0 is the top spec 120mm trail electric mountain bike in the Haibike sDuro hardtail range for 2018. Built on the highest performing Yamaha PW-X system for all round trail, cross country and single track riding. Covering most UK trails.
After looking at various ebikes on the net I decided to buy a haibike hard seven. The haibike range is by far the best looking ebikes on the market had the bike 3 months now and 250 miles later I have not been disappointed at all I can easily cover over 30 miles now with still 2/3 battery bars left! ! New Features
The sDuro HardSeven 8.0 features 120mm of trail travel and the higher performing Yamaha PW-X eMTB motor system. Boasting more torque, more assistance, higher cadence levels & of course a larger capacity Yamaha 500Wh battery.
The Yamaha system allows a dual ring at the front, so the HardSeven 8.0 boasts a 2x10 Shimano gear setup for 2018. This 20 speed system offers a wide mixed of ratios for the user both up and down hill.
The new Shimano XT mech's are lighter weight and offer even crisper gear changes coupled with a Shimano front mech for full 20 speed gearing.
All the Shimano Shadow mech's offer a clutch system to reduce chain suck and keep an overall crisp feeling with less flex and bounce over the rougher bumps. The new SunRace 10 speed casette at the rear is specially developed to give a 11-40t setup. This is more commonly seen with 11 speed systems. So when combined a 2x10 setup with this wide range cassette is whopping!
Up front Haibike have fitted a Suntour Raidon 27.5+ specific suspension fork with 120mm travel and lockout.
Haibike have equipped the 2018 sDuro HardSeven 8.0 with Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes. The perfect all rounder for mountain bikers who value stability and braking power without compromising on weight.
Minimal maintenance and fuss. Aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit and forget, just concentrate on the ride!
Haibike have adopted their own factory wheel set onto the HardSeven 8.0 with boost hubs and 27+ rims. Built on Rodi alloy lightweight 35mm wide rims using DT Swiss spokes.
What more could you want? 27.5+ wheels, Yamaha PW-X power system, 20 speed Shimano XT setup and 120mm of trail travel.
Yamaha PW-X eBike System
The new Haibike sDuro HardSeven 8.0 is powered by the highest performance Yamaha PW-X electric bike system. This powerful 250w motor offers up to 320% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The PW-X now supports higher cadences up to a staggering 120 rpm!
The assistance is offered in 5 levels - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard', 'High' & 'EXPW' (Extra POWER).
This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
The Yamaha PW-X system uses a larger capacity 500Wh battery, now with an assisted range of up to 110 miles due to the new Eco+ assistance mode & 25% increase in capacity.
The Yamaha eBike battery can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours and the new LCD display mounted on the handlebars, shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. Offered with a lightweight and compact charger.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
