Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2020 Haibike sDuro Trekking 4.0 eBike is the mid spec model in the Haibike trekking range for 2020 built with the new Yamaha PW-ST system and larger capacity 500Wh InTube battery mounted in the frame. Designed for road and light path use. Featuring the 'balloon style' tyres for comfort. It's equipped with essentials like lights, mudguards, pannier rack & a side stand. Popular with leisure & commuters alike, this fast bike rolls well on roads and the hybrid tyre also takes well to light paths.
The bike is well engineered, easy to use and I recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing an e-bike, stop thinking and just do it, even at my age it keeps you fit!
Haibike Modular Rail System
The all new MRS (Modular Rail System) from Haibike allows accessories to be integrated neatly onto your new Haibike electric Bike. This can include anything from a water bottle to a lock.
Exclusively compatible with new Haibike electric bikes with 'InTube' integration, this system is both flexible and versatile in a way that's never been possible before.
At E-Bikeshop we'll exclusively be offering these accessories fitted to your new bike. Any that you add to the basket will arrive fitted, these cannot be purchased separately for bikes bought elsewhere.
In true Haibike German design the accessories are matched perfectly, with quality fixings like the water bottle for example, which quickly snap locks back into place when you get it back near the magnets. Thus not allowing it to fall off mid ride!
Furthermore, you are not restricted to just one accessory. Many you can mount in tandem, like the frame lock and bottle for example.
Please Note: These accessories are only compatible with Haibike's using the MRS system.

New Features

For 2020 the Haibike sDruo Trekking 4.0 has Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to match the new wide range gearing.
These powerful brakes are simple to use and easy to pull, they offer reach adjust so riders with bigger or smaller hands can adjust where the lever sits.
The 2020 Trekking 2.5 features the Suntour XCM front suspension fork with a slightly longer 67mm of travel to take the zing out of the front end. These lightweight fork's are constructed of magnesium lowers also feature a lockout so the rider can switch between locked and open when changing terrain surfaces.
The 2020 Suntour XCM forks have slightly larger stanchions so they are stiff and less flexible which works well with heavier riders.
The Haibike sDuro Trekking 4.0 2020 is equipped with Shimano's new Deore M6000 10-speed rear derailleur.
The Deore setup offers a wide range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth at the rear. This offers excellent ratios for both climbing & picking up speed on long flat areas. The gearing is both responsive and crisp, meaning you can focus on the ride.
The M6000 derailleur features Shimano's Shadow Plus one way friction clutch to reduce chain slap, helping to keep things quiet and efficient over rougher terrain.
The 2020 sDuro Trekking 4.0 uses 27.5" (650B) wheels, so optimise the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size.
Matched up with Schwalbe Super Moto-X Tyres they give the Trekking 4.0 a comfortable feel as the broader tyre absorbs the 'British Roads' better & allows for more grip whilst maintaining a fast rolling resistance on the road.
The sDuro Trekking 4.0 eBike is equipped with all the essentials including front/rear lights (Powered off the Yamaha eBike system itself), mudguards, a rear rack & side stand. Considering all of this and the German build quality, it's a well priced bike of this spec!
It's the only one in the range to feature a built in 500Wh battery and the brand new Yamaha PW-ST drive system.
Yamaha PW-ST eBike System
The new 2020 Haibike sDuro Trekking 4.0 features the brand new 2020 Yamaha PW-ST drive system. This new motor has a built in quad sensor which applies assistance in a even more efficient and smooth way. It makes the PW-St the perfect all rounder for different riding styles.
The assistance is offered in 4 levels - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard' & 'High'. Now also featuring the Automatic Support Mode which selects the right amount of riding assistance based on the terrain.
This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control. The Trekking 4.0 2020 eBike uses the 500Wh in-tube battery so it's completely concealed within the frame, but can be charged in the frame or removed easily for charging too.
The new LCD display mounted on the handlebars, shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. Offered with a lightweight and compact charger.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
