A fantastic bike shop. Everything you could need in a bike shop, assisted brilliantly with a new e-road bike purchase, bike in stock and super quick delivery, helpful advice with setting the bike up and a small warranty claim needed within the first year. All round great service, very quick response by email, very knowledgeable and friendly.
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND - KELLY
I bought a basic haibike SDuro approx 24 months ago
Done 7000 miles on it so here is a fair review
Quality item except the forks which are a bit basic but do the job. No real issues other than a new chain and rearset due to wear. Motor still perfect No noise etc. My main concern was 'how far could it go' I have a 500 battery and if im careful I can get nearly 90 miles but 60 just riding as if I don't care at all using a mix of eco and tour
For the money I think its unbeatable value
Im doing a sponsored ride from Mallorca to York and going to upgrade to Trekking 7 but I have no qualms about using a Haibike for such a trip
Highly recommended [best Electric bike I have ever had; and i have had a few!!}
First e bike I've had. At 67 I still resisted going electric. Then, a hill, something I always saw as a challenge caused me pain. Then a friend called in for a cup of tea and said I should have a go on his electric assist bike, frankly, the acceleration was stunning. Then another e biker, who like me had resisted a purchase just like me, assured me it was the best thing he'd done. So knowing nothing of the product I asked my son to seek a bike, best for me in my price range. He highlighted the Haibike sDuro Trecking 5.0 2018Uni. I absolutely love this bike. I look forward to riding in long country lanes. Off the beaten track, finding villages, cafes and pubs I know nothing of yet.
I bought this bike in April 2018 and have used it to commute to work 2 to 3 days per week. I travel 25 kms each way.
I love this machine it has met my every expectation. I have not been a bike rider for many years, and this bike has been a lifesaver. I've ridden over1,500 kms with no mechanical issues. I have had no issues with battery life... handles the 50 km round trip over varied terrain with room to spare. gearing and assist options are great. I've lost 12 pounds, my average heart rate over the trip has dropped and my memory is better than ever, (the over 55 crowd will appreciate this).
Riding in April it even handled some late season snow quite well... surprising with the slim tires.
Thank you Hai bike!
I'm 70 and love to cycle. This bike is quite fantastic. I can ride it without using the electric motor or use it for steep inclines. I have a number of German toys, cars, boats etc and the quality suits me. This bike is a real quality item. Enjoy
Undoubtedly the best e/bike available having completed 3500miles since 10June2016without any problems at all on the frame, wheels, electric motor or controls. I would recommend this unit to everyone including friends.
The only downside being the price of a second battery which cost me £550.00
