Who is this bike suitable for?
The entry level All Mountain electric bike from Haibike, the AllMtn RC offers a reasonable price with 150mm travel. This good specced eMTB is built for All Mountain / Trail Centre / Free Ride use. One of the most versatile eBikes on offer.
However good I wanted this bike to be, it’s ten-times better! The quality of the product is obvious from the moment you open the box. I love the fact that I control how much assistance I get from the motor, the bike’s infinitely rideable without assistance, I would highly recommend this bike and this retailer to everyone.
New Features
New for 2016 the Haibike xDuro AllMtn RC offers an all new chassis, integrating the new higher performance Bosch CX drive unit with added assistance and higher torque outputs.
Of course we see a new specification base as well to bring this high performing all mountain bike up to date with the latest in component innovation.
Haibike have opted for the new Fox Float DPS Performance shock on the AllMtn RC for 2016. It features 3 stages of adjustment for on-the-fly rider adjustment.
This Dual Piston System allows for the shock to be completely locked out, left completely open or the mid stage allows maximum efficiency but gives as required when riding over bumpier terrain.
This adjustability gives full control over varied terrain.
On the 2016 xDuro AllMtn RC the wheels are 27.5" (650B), so optimize the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. To maintain traction on these lovely wheels are the new Schwalbe Hans Dampf Evo tyres, German made for superior grip on all mountain use across mixed terrain with maximum protection.
The wheels come as standard with tubes but a fully tubeless ready. We see XLC sealed hubs built on strong double wall alloy rims. These wheels are strong enough for full attack, but offer a lightweight design and easy removal due to the quick release through axle hubs.
The 2016 xDuro AllMtn RC comes as standard with the new Shimano SLX drivetrain, this 10 speed system offers crisp shifting and a good range of gearing.
The SLX mech comes with a clutch system to minimise chain slap and ensures efficient positive gear shifting.
Up front the new 2016 RockShox Yari RC 150mm suspension forks give a good travel for all mountain riding.
This travel is adjustable from 120mm to 150mm by the flick of the switch so the rider can select the appropriate travel dependant on the terrain.
These offer similar characteristics to the XT style brakes with servo action levers and larger callipers to offer good levels of braking and disperse heat efficiently.
Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB. This ensures a shorter wheelbase for the ultimate control and manoeuvrability off road.
The chain is impossible to drop due to the exclusive Haibike S.E.S. (Sprocket Equalizing System). This raises the chain off the front sprocket up to the same level as the swing arm pivot point so the chain is not affected by the rear end moving up and down over bumps.
The Haibike xDuro AllMtn RC is the entry level xDuro all mountain bike. Want a little more spec? Check out its bigger brothers, the RX & PRO. Built on the same chassis and motor they offer a higher spec base and come as standard with dropper posts.
Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike ALLMTN RC 2016 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike ALL MTN RC features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
