Who is this bike suitable for?
The 150mm travel Haibike AllMtn RX is the younger brother to the 2015 AllMtn PRO and built for rough All Mountain / Trail Centre / Free Ride use. Forget the uplifts, now we can get more runs in a day! More runs = more ride time & therefore more fun!
After loads of searching and quite a few test rides on different makes of e-bike, I finally narrowed my choice down to three of the Haibikes. With some comprehensive advice from Martin, and the apparent professionalism of the e-bike site, I went and bought the RX 27.5. This bike is not only lovely to ride but lovely to look at!..
New Features
The RX is based on the same chassis as its brothers so its 150mm all round running on Fox 32 Talas front forks and Fox CTD adjustable rear shock.
This allows the rider to select the correct rating for the current terrain. From 'Climb' mode for the hills to 'Descent' for the bumpier stuff and of course the mid way setting 'Trail' to combined efficiency across mixed terrain riding.
Both front and rear suspension is adjustable for the riders weight, we provide a full suspension setup on each bike on an individual basis, please provide your weight.
The wheels on the RX are made up of DT Swiss alloy double wall rims built for all mountain use on XLC sealed EVO hubs running through axle front and rear for a super stiff ride.
To grip these superb wheels to the terrain Haibike have opted for the Schwalbe Hans Dampf tyres which like the bike are German made and offer superior amounts of grip in all weathers / terrain.
Haibike have neatly finished the AllMtn RX with matching Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes with larger rotors and the new Ice Tech cooling pads for minimum fade even on long descents.
Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB.
This ensures a shorter wheelbase for the ultimate control and maneuverability off road.
They fix the chain line with their new S.E.S. (Sprocket Equalizing System). This raises the chain off the front sprocket up to the same level as the swing arm pivot point so the chain is not affected by the rear end moving up and down over bumps.

The Haibike AllMtn RX is a brand new model for the 2015 Haibike eMTB range. It sits in between the AllMtn Pro & RC in terms of spec and price.
The main point being that it features better components than the RC and also offers the brand new Bosch Nyon system as described below.
The Haibike AllMtn RX is offered with a full Shimano XT 10 speed gear system with a clutch mech for optimum gear changes and minimal chain slap.
This middle ground RX is a suitable option for those looking for a do-it-all, all mountain bike. It's sure to be popular as the lowest priced eBike within the all mountain range to feature the new Bosch Nyon LCD multifunctional display and a KS dropper post for smooth and easy saddle adjustment.
The full XT setup means the bike comes in at just 21.6kg's, so its very light for the task in hand.
Bosch Nyon eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro AllMtn RX 2015 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance. This system outputs 60Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 275% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance. There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike AllMtn RX features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike.
New for 2015 the xDuro All Mountain RX utilizes the brand new NYON system from Bosch. The LCD multifunctional display on this eBike is like no other! All the normal cycle computer functions but with built in GPS navigation, full multimedia support and Bluetooth integration with your phone for live text message and call alerts. What's more the system can be used as a full fitness suite with connection to your PC.

Whats included?
This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
