Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2018 Haibike xDuro AllMtn 8.0 2018 is the mid spec model with 150mm travel and the Yamaha PW-X drive system. Built as an all rounder for all mountain, single track and trail riding. See it big enough to take hits but nimble enough for tighter trails.
There's an engineering saying - Let the tool do the work and it most certainly does! This is the best bike I'll ever own I'm not missing my motorbike any more!
New Features
The new xDuro AllMtn 8.0 offered with the mighty Yamaha PW-X system and 500Wh battery for maximum range.
Built on a good specification and 150mm of suspension travel the xDuro AllMtn 8.0 is a good all rounder.
The new Fox 34 forks offer 150mm travel, full lockout / trail adjust and now come with the Boost axle setup for increased stiffness and superb handling.
The new 2018 Fox Float Performance shock (Kashima only on factory version) has revised valve designs to offer improved compression flow and rebound.
With the new Dual Piston System, the rider can lock out, ride fully open, or select the mid stage mode of trail settings to conserve energy but it will still provide cushioning under pressure. FOX's highest performing in-line shock.
The AllMtn 8 comes with a built in XLC remote dropper post, saddle height can be adjusted on the handlebars on the fly at a flick of the switch. Offering all round trail control for both up and down hill.
The stoppers on the 2018 xDuro AllMtn 8.0 are provided by Magura's MT5 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The new 2 finger lever offers good control whilst attacking the trails. The new Carbontecture construction brings the overall weight down while maintaining optimal braking performance.
Built on larger disc rotors to make sure this beast of a bike comes to a stop exactly as you'd want it to!
Haibike have adopted their own factory wheel set onto the AllMtn 8 with boost hubs and 27+ rims. Built on Rodi alloy lightweight rims using DT Swiss spokes.
The Yamaha system allows a dual ring at the front, so the AllMtn 8.0 boasts a 2x10 Shimano gear setup for 2018.
The new Shimano XT mech's are lighter weight and offer even crisper gear changes coupled with a Shimano front mech for full 20 speed gearing.
The Haibike xDuro AllMtn 8.0 is a great spec bike built on mid range components. A full day in the saddle is offered by the PW-X system in combination with the higher range 500Wh battery. If you'd prefer a higher spec, check out the Yamaha equipped AllMtn 10.
Yamaha PW-X eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro AllMtn 8.0 is powered by the highest performance Yamaha PW-X electric bike system. This powerful 250w motor offers up to 320% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The PW-X now supports higher cadences up to a staggering 120 rpm!
The assistance is offered in 5 levels - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard', 'High' & 'EXPW' (Extra POWER).
This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
The Yamaha PW-X system uses a larger capacity 500Wh battery, now with an assisted range of up to 110 miles due to the new Eco+ assistance mode & 25% increase in capacity.
The Yamaha eBike battery can be quickly recharged in a matter of hours and the new LCD display mounted on the handlebars, shows not just how much capacity the battery holds but also the predicted range in assisted miles. Offered with a lightweight and compact charger.

Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
