New Features
New for 2017 the Haibike xDuro DownHill 8.0 is a lower spec model at a easier price on the wallet over the DownHill 9.0.
Now on 500Wh Bosch battery, CX Performance drive unit, built specifically for high adrenaline mountain biking and a smaller Purion 2017 display for only the essential info required whilst keeping the bars and rider cockpit clean.
The xDuro Downhill 8.0 features the brand new RockShox Vivid Air RC2 shock for 2017.
This latest revelation is the lightest offering for a 180mm travel shock from RockShox and boasts full adjust ability from beginning to end stroke rebound and low speed compression damping.
The air spring system a combines the consistent feeling of a spring shock with the adjust ability of an air shock.
The countermeasure technology reduces breakaway force transforming small bumps into traction generating performance.
Couple this with the Rapid Recovery system, the rider can access more travel between bumps achieving a smoother and more controlled ride.
The 2017 xDuro Downhill 8.0 rolls on 27.5" (650B) wheels, so optimise the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. Haibike have opted for the new Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres for 2017 which offer the super gravity compound for incredible all year round grip on the xDuro DownHill 8.0 2017.
New for 2017 Haibike have fitted RockShox Boxxer RC 2017 triple clamp DH forks up front.
These world cup winning forks are renowned for being top of their game when it comes to stiffness and reliability.
The 2017 Boxxer's feature a steel spring within 35mm uppers for full 200mm of travel up front. Enough to soak up even the harshest of terrain!
They also feature RockShox's exclusive motion control damping with external rebound stroke and low speed compression damping.
Recommended to work in tandem with the RockShox Vivid at the rear, the Haibike xDuro DownHill 8.0 features both!
The xDuro DH 8.0 rocks a super wide 780mm bar which feature a new thicker 35mm platform which allows for a lighter bar but just as stiff as it's narrow competitors. When combined with the matching 35mm gravity stem, the cockpit is super stiff.
The stoppers on the 2017 xDuro DownHill 8.0 are provided by Magura's new MT5 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The new 2 finger lever offers good control whilst attacking the trails. The new Carbontecture construction brings the overall weight down while maintaining optimal braking performance.
Haibike have fitted up sealed through axle XLC Evo hubs in through axles and combined with double butted spokes built on Alex Supra DH rims for 2017.
The alloy double wall rims are strong enough for harder impacts yet light enough to keep the overall weight down.
Haibike have managed to build this complete new revised downhill electric bike with super gravity components and keep the overall weight down to only 23kg's. Not that weight is significant on DH bikes, but it gives for a lighter overall ride.
The Haibike DH 8.0 offers the complete Shimano Zee 10 spd gear system, designed specifically for harsher downhill and gravity, enduro riding.
Shimano Zee provides rock solid shifting to support more aggressive riding on mountain bike trails.
Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB.
This ensures a shorter wheelbase for the ultimate control and manoeuvrability off road.
The chain is impossible to drop due to the exclusive Haibike S.E.S. (Sprocket Equalizing System).
This raises the chain off the front sprocket up to the same level as the swing arm pivot point so the chain is not affected by the rear end moving up and down over bumps.

Bosch CX & Purion eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro DownHill 8.0 2017 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike DwnHll 8.0 features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.
For 2017 Haibike have equipped the new Bosch Purion display, a revised smaller dash that offers quick vision of essential parameters whilst occupying a minimal amount of cockpit space.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
