New Features
Forget up-lifts or that old 'Push Up'. Now you can ride both uphill and downhill. This equals more runs, more riding and ultimately more smiles.
For 2019 the xDuro DownHill 8.0 now features the powerful Yamaha PW-X drive system and combined 500Wh battery.
The rear is covered by the new RockShox Super Deluxe RCT rear shock which is fully air adjustable by the rider and a whole host of rebound damping controls. It's new lightweight body contains the latest internals to give you that full 200mm of travel.
The 2019 xDuro Downhill 8.0 rolls on 27.5" (650B) wheels, so optimise the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size.
Haibike have fitted new sealed, through axle hubs, and combined with double butted spokes built on Alex Supra DH rims for 2019.
The alloy double wall rims are strong enough for harder impacts yet light enough to keep the overall weight down. Haibike wrapped these wheels with the Maxxis Minion tyres for super tacky grip and control on the slopes.
Haibike have built the new 2019 DownHill 8.0 with RockShox Boxxer RC 2019 triple clamp DH forks up front.
These world cup winning forks are renowned for being top of their game when it comes to stiffness and reliability.
The 2019 Boxxer's feature a steel spring within 35mm uppers for full 200mm of travel up front. Enough to soak up even the harshest of terrain!
They also feature RockShox's exclusive motion control damping with external rebound stroke and low speed compression damping.
Haibike equip the DownHill 8.0 with a built in KS Lev dropper post so the rider can switch saddle height up and down, on the fly from the handlebars.
The Haibike DH 8.0 comes with Sram's NX system offers the same same smooth and reliable shifting of it's bigger brother with the 12 tooth X-SYNC pulley wheels. The X-HORIZON design reduces chain slap and the shifting force offering a smooth reliable setup.
You'll notice the new huge 11 speed cassette which offers an incredible 11 to 42t setup meaning this is the largest range ever possible on an electric mountain bike! Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB.
The new xDuro DownHill 8.0 stoppers are provided by Magura's MT5 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes.
The new Carbontecture construction brings the overall weight down while maintaining optimal braking performance.
Built on larger 203mm disc rotors to make sure the DownHill 8.0 can stop as fast as it accelerates on the trails.
Minimal maintenance and fuss. Aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit and forget, just concentrate on the ride!

Yamaha PW-X eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro DwnHll 8.0 is powered by the highest performance Yamaha PW-X electric bike system. This powerful 250w motor offers up to 320% assistance and peaks at 80Nm of torque.
The power curve comes in early and is responsive as soon as you touch the pedals. The PW-X now supports higher cadences up to a staggering 120 rpm! The assistance is offered in 5 levels - 'Eco+', 'Eco', 'Standard', 'High' & 'EXPW' (Extra POWER).
This allows the user to fine tune the amount of assistance required during the ride offering complete flexibility and control.
The Yamaha PW-X system uses a larger capacity 500Wh battery, now with an assisted range of up to 110 miles due to the new Eco+ assistance mode & 25% increase in capacity.
The 2019 Yamaha eBike Display switch is neat and sits over to the left of the handlebars. Offering the rider vital stats on the fly whilst keeping the cockpit area clear and clutter free. The 1.7″ LCD display offers the quick reading of stats like Speed, Battery Capacity & Assist Mode. Leaving more options there, but hidden away including details like Trip meter, Overall Odometer & Range.

Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support.
E-bikeshop is a UK Yamaha Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
