I rode from 0700h to 1230h I

The bike was amazing, I so enjoyed it. I rode from 0700h to 1230h I still used the van for shuttles as I was riding with buddies, they all loved their little trail on it. I kept it on Turbo much of the ride as I wanted to master the power surges and get used to neutral pedalling to slow off speed. On one descent there is a hump with a climb up half way down, yesterday I turned that hump into a jump. So amazing.

Today I had the bike in my workshop, I trimmed the bars, a bit wide for the narrow tree lined trails here. I also cut back the seat post cable as I don’t need it so high. I added a Magic Mary 2.6 super tacky tire to the front as Hong Kong can be slick rocks and roots in parts.

I am so glad I went for the DH bike, I figured the trail bikes are almost the same weight, and riding here is extreme DH so the slack head angle and the Fox 40’s keep you out of trouble.

I could go on about the relentless smiling whilst riding, it just transforms the trails and opens up possibilities; but I am sure you’ve heard it all before. Oh wow what a game changer, I could not wipe the smile off my face, when I got home my wife thought I had been drinking, or worse. Thanks so much for your patience with all my questions, and your super and very efficient service.
