New Features
A brand new model means one thing, a totally revised specification! The new Haibike xDuro Downhill PRO is offered up with some really trick new components.
The xDuro Downhill PRO features the brand new RockShox Vivid Air RC2 shock for 2016.
This latest revelation is the lightest offering for a 180mm travel shock from RockShox and boasts full adjustability from beginning to end stroke rebound and low speed compression damping.
The air spring system a combines the consistent feeling of a spring shock with the adjustability of an air shock.
The countermeasure technology reduces breakaway force transforming small bumps into traction generating performance.
Couple this with the Rapid Recovery system, the rider can access more travel between bumps achieving a smoother and more controlled ride.
On the 2016 xDuro Downhill PRO the wheels are 27.5" (650B), so optimize the benefits of both 26" & 29" and combine them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size. Haibike have wrapped these wheels with new boots from Maxxis, the High Roller 2's offer a dual compound grippy rubber for maximum grip across mixed terrain.
Up front we see the new 2016 FOX 40 Float Factory triple clamp forks, now offering an even lighter weight chassis than before.
With 40mm lowers & a 20mm through axle for ultimate stiffness up front. Coupled with kashima coating as standard to reduce friction.
True trail performance and ultimate control comes from the redeveloped and new FiT4 system from FOX.
FOX Factory Series forks feature an additional 21 clicks of low-speed compression adjust in the Open mode, allowing riders to fine-tune their exact damping preferences for 2016.
You can also use new air volume spacers to adjust the progressiveness of the spring curve.
Also new on the 2016 FOX 40's is a special air bleed system situated on the back of the stanchions so the rider can ensure consistent fork performance at any altitude. The 2016 Downhill PRO comes as standard with a KS LEV-DX dropper post built in so you can raise and lower the seat at the flick of a switch on the handlebars.
For 2016 Haibike have spec'd the NDURO PRO with a Mavic Deemax wheelset. These downhill racing wheels were developed by world class riders to offer the most lightweight and responsive downhill racing wheel on the market.
New instant engaging rear hub freewheel & ultralight spokes give the wheels the instant stiffness they need to compete with the toughest terrain.
Haibike have of course opted to equip the new xDuro Downhill bike with Shimano top of the line Saint. This kit designed for downhill and heavy enduro use is perfect for the stresses and strains of a tough hitting bike.
The new Shimano Saint brakes have a shorter servo wave lever pivot with a 2 finger lever, this gives the rider great control over free stroke which is also easily adjusted.
These Saint brakes over cooling fins over the pads to disperse heat quickly and also 3 layer hydraulic hose to keep the brake feel consistent. The wider pads on 4 piston calipers give a positive feel with minimum fade even when flat out downhill.
From shifters to rear derailleur Haibike have specced the Downhill Pro with the specific Shimano Saint kit, so we see a full Saint 10 spd drivetrain. Meaning robust, smooth, light gear changes!
It also means that the look and feel of the DH bike stays true to it's roots with matchmaker gear lever and brake lever for a clean cockpit and minimal fuss.
Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB. This ensures a shorter wheelbase for the ultimate control and manoeuvrability off road.
The chain is impossible to drop due to the exclusive Haibike S.E.S. (Sprocket Equalizing System). This raises the chain off the front sprocket up to the same level as the swing arm pivot point so the chain is not affected by the rear end moving up and down over bumps.
One word to sum up the new Haibike Downhill electric mountain bike? AMAZING!! We expect this bike to take the UK by storm. Normally we recommend a model up or down from here. But it simply isn't possible - Get set for the world's first DH eBike!
Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro Downhill PRO 2016 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike Downhill PRO features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
