Who is this bike suitable for?
The Haibike FatSix RX with a higher 11 speed XT component base and the RockShox Bluto 100mm fork is a tougher build for mixed terrain, be it snow, sand, mud or slippery terrain. The benefit the large tyres has, is superior grip and control. Not to mention a huge amount of comfort and most of all a fun, playful ride!
Warning…This bike is mahoossive fun! It just gobbles up anything you point it at and turns heads anywhere you go.It is surprisingly light/nimble, rolls really well on tarmac and is awesome on really soft stuff. The frame,graphics and components are spot on as you would expect from Haibike and Bosch. The bike arrived nicely packed, safe and secure in its box, Martin and the team were great and the after sale care is superb… Thanks guys!
New Features
We welcome the new FatSix RX in 2016. Due to the success of last year's model, for 2016 it's available in two variants.
The xDuro FatSix RX comes complete with the bigger capacity 500Wh Bosch Battery and the new higher torque Bosch Performance CX drive unit.
Featuring a completely new frame to fit the new Bosch 2016 components and revised geometry for optimised bottom bracket height and steering angle.
The 2016 RX is equipped with Shimano's new 11 speed drivetrain. The 2016 XT setup offers a huge extended range of gearing from 11 to 42 teeth at the rear.
The XT 11 speed rear mech is fitted with the latest clutch technology to keep the drivetrain running smooth and the chain straight even over bumpy terrain, finally a quiet gear system and responsive changes.
The new xDuro FatSix RC is built on a whole new Haibike fat bike wheelset for 2016. Boasting lightweight, drilled rims & sealed through axle hubs. These strong and wide wheels certainly look the part which is what sets the FatSix RX aside!
Haibike have joined forces with German tyre manufacturer Schwalbe. These new Jumbo Jim tyres are 4 inches wide and offer a large tread pattern to ensure maximum grip. They are made with the famous 'Snake Skin' sidewall to resist any snags and are fairly puncture resistant which is always a plus point. These tyres are just as light as similar all mountain regular tyres, which is surprising considering the amount of rubber used. Designed specifically for fat bikes.
Haibike have matched the brakes perfectly with the gear system, again using full Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes to ensure that fat bikes comes to a stop quickly. These brakes require minimum maintenance and keep the overall weight of the bike down.
The brand new 2016 RockShox Bluto forks are specifically designed with fat bikes in mind. Offering superior adjustability and a wide enough bridge for the super wide tyres to roll through.
These forks offer 100mm of travel, they are air adjustable and even have a remote lockout operated from the handlebars for conserving valuable energy on the climbs.
Fat bike's can be quite hard to use in a practical sense. But to combine this style of bike with a Bosch Performance CX motor makes perfect sense. It offers an assisted bike that has superior amounts of grip at whatever you throw at it, but is not hard to ride around. Say hello to the all new generation of Fat eBikes!
We are really pleased that Haibike have come up with this bike. Fat bikes have been around for a while now, although they perform a simple task for riders that are putting them through their paces in sand, dirt, snow & mud etc.
Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike Fat Six RX 2016 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance on turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike Fat Six RX features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2016 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
