Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2017 Haibike xDuro FullSeven 5.0 electric bike is the entry level model in the 120mm travel full suspension eBike range. Built for trail access, cross country and forest paths, this eMTB is a great start for light off road use on forest tracks and mountain paths.
I was skeptical I could ascend a local very steep hill sitting down but I did and in torrentially wet conditions. The ability to have traction and āaccelerateā through hairpin bends whilst ascending is unique, as is the lower center of gravity which feel much safer and more controlled on steeper descents.
All in all it is an amazing piece of kit.
New Features
The Haibike xDuro FullSeven 5.0 offers an all new chassis, integrating the new higher performance Bosch CX drive unit with added assistance and higher torque outputs for 2017.
The FullSeven range has 120mm of travel so it's built around your everyday mountain biker, not too big and bouncy but enough to cater for demanding single track.
At the front Haibike have equipped the new Suntour AION fork, developed at an affordable price level with all the features of higher end forks.
Tested and developed by Suntour to offer an eBike optimised ride with a Hydraulic lockout, 120mm of travel.
The xDuro FullSeven 5.0 has a rear shock to match, the Suntour Duair shock is fully air adjustable to the riders weight and offers on-the-fly rebound controls. The 2017 FullSeven 5.0 has a lightweight XLC wheel set with Rodi Black Rock double wall alloy rims.
The 2017 Haibike xDuro FullSeven 5.0 comes equipped with Magura's MT4 hydraulic disc brakes.
The perfect all rounder for mountain bikers who value stability and braking power without compromising on weight.
These are mounted on larger rotors for excellent braking performance.
You can be sure they'll stop you as quickly as you accelerate on this eBike.
Minimal maintenance and fuss.
Aside from changing the brake pads from time to time you can fit and forget, just concentrate on the ride!
Haibike are the only electric bike manufacturer to mount the motor with the swing arm pivot bolt in a raised position ensuring the rear end is much shorter than any other eMTB.
This ensures a shorter wheelbase for the ultimate control and manoeuvrability off road.
The chain is impossible to drop due to the exclusive Haibike S.E.S. (Sprocket Equalising System). This raises the chain off the front sprocket up to the same level as the swing arm pivot point so the chain is not affected by the rear end moving up & down over bumps.
To finish the xDuro FullSeven 5.0 off Haibike have fixed the front end with lightweight alloy 740mm wide bars mounted on an alloy stem and XLC sport lock on comfy grips. Coupled with a light xDuro saddle for a little comfort at the rear.

Bosch CX & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro FullSeven 5.0 2017 eBike also features the latest Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit and setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w CX system outputs 75Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 300% assistance in turbo mode.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike FullSeven 5.0 features the brand new Bosch 500Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
