Who is this bike suitable for?
The 2017 Haibike xDuro HardSeven 4.0 is the entry level hard tail with 100mm travel and the Bosch performance motor is built around your everyday trail biker looking to ride the local trail centres at the weekend or explore the many track and cycle routes across the country. This eMTB is made for Trail Center / Cross Country / General use.
Gary Fisher recently quoted that eMTB bikes “are going to be the next big thing”. After having minor reservations about spending the most money ever for me on a bike – I can honestly say I agree and think he is most definitely spot on!
New Features
The Haibike xDuro HardSeven 4.0 is the entry level model in the hard tail range for 2017. With the Bosch performance drive and 400Wh battery and a spec that won't break the bank.
The HardSeven 4.0 eBike is fitted up with Tektro disc brakes, these hydraulic brakes are double the strength over traditional cable brakes and the pads last a lot longer over standard v brake blocks.
A good addition to any high powered electric bike.
The xDuro HardSeven 4.0 2017 benefits from the new 650B / 27.5" wheel size. This new wheel is designed with the benefits of the bigger 29" in wheel in mind, so it rolls fast and flows over bumps easier, but uses the 26" wheel characteristics for good manoeuvrability through tight single track areas. These wheels are built using XLC EVO hubs on Rodi alloy double wall rims and spokes, so they are not only light but can take harder impacts without fail for 2017.
To grip these to the floor Haibike have carefully selected Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres for the 2017 HardSeven 4.0, these German tyres offer a decent amount of grip in slippery conditions but also don't offer too much resistance when rolling on flatter terrain and tarmac.
The gearing on this model is a Shimano Deore 10 Speed drive train, these are on rapid fire trigger shifters to ensure smooth and precise gear changes even under pressure.
To finish the xDuro HardSeven 4.0 off Haibike have fixed the front end with lightweight alloy 740mm wide bars mounted on an alloy stem and XLC sport lock on comfy grips. Coupled with a Light xDuro saddle for a little comfort at the rear.
The 2017 frames are also lighter and feature Alloy hydro formed tubing for ultimate strength / rigidity.
The whole build on the new 2017 HardSeven 4.0 is as expected from Haibike. From the German build quality, to the gravity casting motor mounts and high quality specification, you can be sure to put it through its paces as an everyday electric bike.

Bosch Performance & Intuvia eBike System
The new Haibike xDuro HardSeven 4.0 2017 eBike also features the Bosch Performance crank drive motor, which offers up to 275% assistance and up to 60Nm of torque.
Neatly housed in Haibikes patented gravity casting interface, the motor is inverted into the frame offering a neat solution and one of the best Bosch motor integrations on the planet.
Featuring 4 levels of assistance & remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike!
This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike HardSeven 4.0 features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery for 2017 offering a full day in the saddle on this Bosch powered electric mountain bike.

This electric bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialled in for optimum performance. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service within 3 months.
Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a laptop or PC connected to the internet, combined with our diagnostic equipment.
E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
