New Features..

The 2014 Haibike Trekking SL Unisex electric bike geometry is designed with comfort and distance riding in mind. Adopted with a lower crossbar and a shorter top tube this is the womens specific model. The lightweight road orientated forks are designed to optimise riding experience and add comfort where needed. A must for the UK roads! They offer just enough bounce to take the pressure off the rider but feature a remote lockout perfect for climbing with minimal energy loss.

The 700c wheels are built on strong Rodi double wall alloy rims attached to the good quality Shimano hubs using DT Swiss spokes. To grip these wheels to the road Haibike use German manufacturer Schwalbe’s 700c Energiser tyres. These tyres are made specifically for electric bikes, they offer superior rolling resistance and feature a tough Kevlar lining to resist punctures and make for a really long lasting tread. The braking performance comes from another German manufacturer – Magura. These hydraulic disk brakes offer more than enough stopping power with minimal maintenance. The Haibike Trekking SL is geared towards touring with the 9spd Sram dual drive gear system. This is very special indeed, it means that you have a 3spd hub on a 9speed cassette. This allows the Bosch powered eBike a full 27speed gear system, one of the only Bosch electric bikes to offer this. A full versatile gear system to ensure you can climb as well as descent.

This Haibike eBike is finished with all the practical essentials to ensure every aspect of the users needs is catered for. These include decent full mudguards, pannier rack, side stand, puncture resistant tyres, comfy saddle, self-sufficient front & rear lighting and an in-built hand pump. The lighting system is self-powered off the dynamo hub. This means they are maintenance free, always on the eBike, keeping you visible in all conditions. The lights will actually stay of for a few minutes when stopped meaning you can be confident they will stay on when stopping at traffic lights etc.

Notice how Haibike cleverly invert the Bosch electric bike motor 280 degrees out of the way as opposed to its 'under slung' competitors. This means that not only is the motor up out of the way and protected by the frame but it also is out of the firing line of crud flicking up from the front wheel. By inverting the motor up like this it gives maximum ground clearance, which is important on a mountain bike. It also is super stiff in the way it is mounted so as there is no loss of efficiency through your pedal. This idea is patented by Haibike, which is why you will not find the motor in this position on other manufacturers electric bikes. Bosch eBike System..

The new Haibike Trekking SL Unisex eBikes also features the Bosch Classic+ Crank Drive & Intuvia display. This system outputs 48Nm of torque & peaks at 500w! It certainly packs a punch, it will also offer up to 250% assistance on turbo mode, while Eco mode offers a more subtle 50% assistance.

There are 4 levels of assistance and remember you can always turn it off completely and ride it as a normal bike!

This machine rolls just the same as a normal cycle. In fact the quality in the design, geometry & build make it a true performer! The Haibike Trekking SL features the Bosch 400Wh PowerPack Battery so it hosts the most range possible on a Bosch powered electric bike. Whats included?

This bike comes fully set-up by our workshop technicians. You can be sure that every aspect of the eBike has been dialed in for optimum performance. On all suspension models, be sure to let us know your weight as we can pre adjust the suspension to the desired rider weight, giving the perfect balance and agility specifically for individuals needs. All our electric bikes arrive with a user manual, keys, charger & free follow up service.

Our electric bikes also include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics & 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims in-house. We can also offer worldwide support for customers further afield using a Laptop, iPhone or iPad combined with our diagnostic equipment.

E-bikeshop is a UK Bosch Electric Bike Service Center and our in house workshop is now exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We also have parts / spares to hand should they be required.
