Lapierre Overvolt AM 800+ Carbon 2018 Bosch

After much deliberation I chose to buy from the ever-patient Martin because I reckoned aftersales was going to be as important as an eMtb purchase. I haven't been disappointed...in fact he goes above and beyond to assist a newbie mtb'er.

The bike is incredible - it's the envy of everyone who sees it, even e-bike sceptics who all want a go on it. I have inflammatory arthritis and spinal injury so had to give up sports 15 years ago - this has opened the door to adrenaline and massive fun again. The bike is forgiving to a beginner yet capable way beyond I'll ever be able to take it.

If you think you might like an e-bike, all you need to do is decide which one and buy it from Martin!

I bought 2 mountain bikes off Martin when he was in Petersfield a few years ago and when I started looking for eBikes and noticed he now had the eBike shop I didn't bother looking anywhere else. I came in with the view of getting the Haibike All Mountain RX and after lots of easy to understand advise and a couple of demo rides, I purchased this SX800.

I suffer with extreme chronic pain throughout my body and needed to try and build muscle and stamina without wiping me out of action for days, whilst also having fun on trails and commuting to work. I have done 12 miles on the bike in 2 evenings riding so far and it's brilliant. The suspension is great and very versatile. The motor gives assistance up to around 15mph and then it's up to you (Which is good if you want more of a workout).

The 4 riding modes are also good for this but I tend to only use Standard and High to be honest. I still have 1/2 battery power left despite not using Eco or Eco+

Really impressed with the bike but more importantly the honest advise and aftercare from Martin and his team. I arrived at 2:30pm and took delivery an hour later. If you are after a bike, you definitely need to see these guys.
