I was lucky to be the first in the UK to own this bike and have now clocked 200 miles plus and can honestly say every mile has been spot on the money !!! , My other bike is a 2016 Lapierre Team spicy and the AM 900 is not far behind in performance, the AM 900 is totally balanced and the frame is bomb proof, brakes are strong and the EX1 is smooth and responsive .
Highly recommended bit of kit

Left on previous model: After a year of having an e-mtb I am now convinced I would never go back to a traditional mtb, in fact I've now sold mine.
It’s not cheating, a motorbike, or does it wreck the trail or scare the ramblers, it’s just like power steering on your car takes out the nasty part and that’s it !
Unless your mountain biking is solely based on personal performance and you have the time to achieve that, stop kidding yourself get an e-bike do more of what you love.
Left on previous model: From the first email to Martin he has always been more than helpful even before I had decided to buy.
Bought the 2016 Lappierre FS 900 2016, with Bosch Nyon upgrade.
Delivered perfect on time all ready to go.
The bike is great in fact better than I thought, the only problem I have is the weather which I cant really blame martin for.
Swapped off the stock tyres for some Maxxis Minions DHF and DHR and went tubless. bike wants for nothing else. (stock tyres will be fine for summer use but rear tyre is too low profile for any traction in this weather)
Would highly recommend martin and the e-bike shop to anyone thinking of buying I have no doubt I will be a returning customer.
Left on previous model: The bike arrived here today and all I can say is absolutely amazing. Your help and service is just brilliant, second to none.
From my initial contact through to ordering and ultimately delivery has been flawless.
Being on the direct opposite side of the world and having service like this is just unbelievable . Will definitely recommend your company to anyone here wishing to buy an e bike.
I am still in amazement to how you managed to achieve all of this in the time frame. Well done mate
Cheers, Sean ( Melbourne Australia )
Left on previous model: I was torn between the Yamaha and Bosch drive after reading the reviews, tested both and to my surprise I preferred the Bosch, Martin gave me a wide choice however after he pointed out the value of the FS 900 with the higher spec I chose it as I knew I would ride it a lot.
It is used for a 15 mile commute daily and kept in Sport mode, lunch times I use it on a local single track path down a large hill to the beach for lunch, it flies back up again, the battery lasts all day and I am averaging 17mph! I get to work in the same time as a car and get some exercise without feeling too tired.
I would recommend the derestrict kit and go for the larger front cog (seen 34mph so far!) together with Super Sam tyres for speed and still be useable off road. Dropper seat post is a must too.
Really happy with my purchase, Martins after sale support has been fantastic too.
